Mum is very very sick now. The cancer is getting worse. I need bible verses that will comfort her in this dark and painful time.

Any that give peace, hope and especially salvation ( I pray she is saved ). She believes in God and Jesus.

The journey of pain is intensifying and she is scared of what is to come. I'll make a list and give them to her so she can read them in really desperate times.

I talked with Mum last night and tried my best to share all I knew. I lack knowledge of the bible though so need your help.

Thank you for reading this. All help is always greatly appreciated.

Psalms 23 and 27 and it's not necessarily a "christian song" but it should be a hymn, simon and garfunkel "bridge over troubled waters" is a beautiful song that reminds me that nomatter what Jesus never leaves us.

ALL in ALL First and last Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 1 corinthians15 24:57 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

its gonna be ok

Well, I read them to her tonight...

Thank you

All the verses you shared touched my mum's heart tonight. Praise God for his goodness and divine intervention in our lives.

She was in great physical pain and scripture comforted, eased and healed her pains. Scripture I would have found difficult to locate but was here tonight at the flick of a button.

She is resting and now has a sense of peace.

Thank you for all your love, wisdom and compassion. Truly Christ is here, working wonders.

I must thank God for the courage and conviction given to me too.

Jesus is Lord!

Sleepy:

My aunt, grandmother, and mother have all died without Jesus in the past few months.

I don't know what is wrong with your Mum. I have compassion for you and Mum.

A prayer for you and your precious Mum:

Heavenly Father,
We know that You are the author of life and that Your Kingdom is at hand, even within us. I pray for Sleepy and her Mum. You know their needs. Please let them know Your presence is with them today. In Jesus name. Amen.

"Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32, NKJ).

Your Sister in Christ,
Dr. Bon Vie
