Hello

[always confused]

I'm new to this forum. My name is Jason and I used to be a better Christian then I am now. I have stumbled these last few years and have gone away from God.

I was once an atheist in my younger years, but was saved and reborn. I was a strong christian for four or five years. Then, my atheist thinking began to seep back into my brain.(I was an atheist for most of my life) At times I have a really hard time trying to stay thinking like a christian. I have not read the bible in three years. I have just recently gotten a new bible and have been wanting to read the word.

I was hoping that by coming here, I would be able to seek help from other christians who are strong and willing to help me with my old ways of thinking.

I would appreciate your prayers and any type of reading material which would be useful in helping me keep my path to God.

Hi Jason. I strayed from my father for more than 20 years. It is a blessing to walk with God again. I have read some books by John Eldrege "walking with God" and "Wild at heart" very helpful. There is also a good book by Lee Strobel "The case for christ". I know the spiritual warefare you are experiencing. It is Satan trying to keep you from God. I will be praying for you Jason.
