Hey guys, I just want to introduce myself and ask a question. I am Dakota Grossman, a Christian writer, filmmaker, and programmer. I am also VERY into Biblical prophecy. I have written several short stories, one which is awaiting publication (hopefully). I am working on a novel about the Biblical end-times. Now, here is my question:

Sometimes, when I'm alone, a little whisper comes up in the back of my head, a very small voice. It says how do you know you're really saved? or are you really saved? Did that prayer REALLY save you? I know in my head that I am a child of the Most High God, but it brings me down sometimes and makes me question my Salvation and makes me ask for salvation again. Has this ever happened to you? How do you deal with this?

Thanks!

There is maybe something that you need to do... I mean, are you doing things like sharing the words of GOD?

Want to share this passage:
Matthew 19:16- 23 the Jewish rich young man -

Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”
“Which ones?” the man inquired.
Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother, and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.”
“All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Hello! Welcome to TalkJesus.

Just remember, saying the prayer alone will not save you. Only putting your faith in Jesus Christ as the sacrificial atonement will save you. If you want to express that through a prayer and confession, by all means! But on the last day when you stand before God, He won't determine your salvation based on trusting in a prayer, but rather whether you have trusted in His Son.

Hope this helps. - Glow

Recommit your life to Christ regularly and often; it keeps me centered. I've been doing that for many years.

Those are thoughts from the devil, Ignore them rebuke them in Jesus' name. Jesus lives in you, so use His power. Exercise your authority in Him

I agree with what has already been said here. Put your trust in Christ, not in the prayer. Keep your relationship with Him fresh and new and healthy, and tell Satan to scram. You're a child of the One True God.

Blessings!
