Hello,
My name is Brian Humek. I am a church planter and author living in Irving, TX.
I have recently published a couple e-books. One is titled Purple Ducks: Reflections on Why in the World We Want to Belong. The other is titled: Drop: A Closer Look at Realistic Spirituality from the Inside Out.
I have a wife and a 13 year old son. My religious background is independent Christian churches, but I now attend a Church of Christ here in the DFW area. As is the case with some church planters/missionaries, we have lost our support and continue to keep going despite the setbacks. Maybe God has been telling us "No, stop doing your work even though good things have come from it," but I can't believe God is saying that. But who knows? Maybe I'm just a very bad listener.
