A poem for Wisdom..welcome
Wisdom
From the intention of the heart, the mouth overflows
A wise man through Wisdom, but the foolish by inanity therein
Imprudence will thus establish a snare by the tongue
The foolish one trapped as eminence is raised in high esteem
Vain reputation leads the fool into wretchedness
For the ebbs and flows of mans approval is sought through vanity
In ever seeking but never becoming complete
They fall deep into the pit that was created by words of pride
An empty tomb replete with dust is their just reward
As they have plundered all the treasures that this life had to offer
These treasures are used to expand egos by and by
Are equal to the gifts that the prudent use for unselfish gain
This Wisdom that is offered to all mankind is known
Exclusively by those who are servants in the Kingdom of God
It cannot be obtained through the lofty minds of men
Neither is it the wisdom of the world that leads to destruction
In this Wisdom dwell discretion and a sober mind
Not approved by men; Laid forth from the foundation of creation
It is far beyond the finite intellect to grasp
How it thus fills a life that is rendered as nothing for The King
