Hello forum - I'm Mindy †

I guess I've put the cart before the horse with this post. I have been posting for a little while now without properly introducing myself so I will do so now.

I'm a believer as you may already know yet I'm a baby Christian. My name is Mindy but I like the Screen name "Lord Knows" because well, he does I am VERY passionate about my relationship with God, maybe to the point of seeming pushy or crude. I'd like to say that I am really not that way at all when it comes to God or at least I try my hardest not to be. I have learned that talking face to face versus typing there is a lot that can get misinterpreted & usually does. So I will do my best to post so that it is easily understood without seeming as if I'm yelling or being rude. I will admit that after doing some reading & a bit of study I have learned that I am much like Simon Peter. I'm a bit blunt, harsh, bold, I do put my foot in my mouth here & there & I stand very firm on my faith in God. I'm not easily swayed & I tend to need confirmation with the information I receive. I'm willing to take advice but I will do my homework before I make a judgement call. All in all I'm down to earth. Understanding when most will have walked away. Forgiving when I'm treated unfairly & compassionate when it comes to others.

That's me in a nutshell. I do plan on posting my testimony but I have been praying on that.

I can say, that you have been a blessing to TJ and to those who have had an opportunity to read your postings. Just so you know. Many would be blessed to be such a "baby Christian".

Mindy, So glad to have you here. I do identify with you in some of the things you have shared about yourself, except for the baby Christian part, and a few other things. I am an old-timer. But I, as well, am very passionate about my Lord and my relationship with him, and his calling upon my life. I don't sugar coat, and I tend to be pretty straight-forward, as well, though seasoned with wisdom from above, hopefully. I stand firm on my faith in God, too, and am not easily swayed. I test what I hear in prayer and against the word of God, and make it a practice of doing my homework, too. So, in these ways, and more, we are like-minded it would seem. I look forward to reading some of your posts and to getting to know you.
