I have been lurking on this site for some time now and I finally had a few moments to register. First of all, I praise the Lord that such an interesting, loving and Biblical community is available!


A little about myself: I was in the military for several years, but I was given early retirement for medical reasons. Now I stay home and take care of my husband and our four dogs. My husband and I have been married for nearly four years and we are in the process of moving to another state (again!). Life is quite chaotic at the moment as he has already gone ahead to work while I am packing and selling the house.

We have not been at our current location very long and were not able to find a church family to become close with. As a result, I am here looking for fellowship with other believers. I look forward to getting to know you all and I pray we can encourage each other in our Christian walk.

HoneyBare, after reading your testimony I just want to give thanks to God for leading you to Jesus Isn't it amazing how our Lord guides to be with him?

I sought fulfillment, purpose and meaning in philosophy for many years before coming to the faith. It was never 'enough' to answer my questions or give my life purpose, just as the Mormon system wasn't for you.
