Hell and the lake of fire

Here is something I am confused about. On Judgement Day, will the many already in hell have to stand to see if their name is in the Book of Life? Isn’t their judgment already final after death?
Is hell and its population to be thrown into the Lake of Fire? Is this a second hell?
Here is something to consider. In the UK they are already implementing a mandatory digital ID whereby without that ID you can not buy food , etc. Australia and Switzerland are agreeable.
It’s bound to happen in the United States
My question is to other Christians who read this. What will you say and do if the United States government mandates you have to have that digital ID?

I'm not sure the mark will be a digital RFID or bio-metric thing... maybe a tattoo or something, I don't know.

Hell (Hades) is temporary... the Lake of Fire is permanent... like jail vs prison.

Once you take the mark... there is no turning back, no repentance... no forgiveness.

I will not even consider taking it. I am post-trib... so if I'm right, we have to worry about it.
Most on here are pre-trib.. if they are right... then we won't have to worry about it.

First, Christians are only concerned with testifying of living forever with others in the Holy Presence of the True and Living Christ.

Hell is bad and must be avoided.

As far as the Mark of the Beast and other anti-Christ behavior, my response: "avoid all that like it's 30 silver shekels. And if the cultists and the possessed refuse Christ's Redeeming Grace, and torture us to death - or choose Death themselves (sell your cloak and buy a sword) - Amen. All Glory to Holy Jesus! Deus Vult!"

This passage makes it unmistakably clear:

• Worshiping the beast and receiving the mark results in eternal torment.
• There is no rest day or night, and the torment is forever.
• It is not just a physical consequence — it is spiritual and eternal.

Currently there is a temporary abode of damnation called 'Tartarus' where the condemned are waiting their final judgement. Tartarus is part of Hades, the world of the dead. Another compartment of Hades called Paradise was where the righteous waited for Jesus to open the doors to heaven. If it hasn't been emptied by now it will be emptied at the Rapture.

Tartarus is mentioned in Jude verse 6, and is often translated into 'darkness' in English translations. Those in it are clearing waiting for their final judgement. With Paradise empty, Hades will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelations 20:14)

As for the digital ID, it cannot be mandated per the US Constitution. Our religious freedoms are guaranteed by the 1st amendment to our Constitution. Many will claim, righteously, that such an ID can be considered the "mark of the beast". The fourth amendment guarantees a right to privacy in our personal lives, houses, papers, and effects. Time and again when evil attempted to exert control over our lives under Biden or Obama the Supreme Court kept telling them to back off because it violated the Constitution.

Rev 13:16-17
(16) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
(17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Well it says that concerning the mark, it will be received in the right hand and forehead, which makes me think of the chip implant that exists which can be used for buying and selling.

Right now that system is being fully prepared.

I heard a Baptist pastor say once, whatever the mark is, if it resembles it, or is likened unto it, why would you take a chance in receiving it.

We can not allow ourselves to be desensitized, it may be fully intact in the time of the tribulation period, but nevertheless, let us not allow ourselves to be desensitized, let us fear the Lord.

Rev 20:14
(14) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Right now unbelievers go to hell, but one day once they go before God at the great white throne of judgment, they will be cast into the lake of fire.

So yep that is what the bible shows.

And yep I would agree with the statement that B-A-C said, which is: "Hell (Hades) is temporary... the Lake of Fire is permanent"

The dead are in the graves now. When it comes time for the judgement they will be raised from the dead and if they're name is not in the book of life they will be cast into the Gehenna.

If the US institutes digital ID I will not be partaking in it. It is too close to the Mark of the Beast to even think about partaking.

The great White Throne Judgement will be your day in court. All the unrepentant are currently in a home called Hades. After their day in court, they will be placed in their new eternal home in a place called the 'lake of fire'. Judgement day is not to see if their name is written in the Lambs book of life. It is a sentencing. God will add up all their evils and sentence them to a specific location and period in fire according to their sin Rom 2:6.

One issue that always confused me was how Jesus speaks of the rich man in Hades already experiencing fire. God has since shown me three truths concerning this.

1. Jesus had to include this in scripture so as to clarify for all the type of suffering a spirit will endure in fire. Important for us to grasp that one will not be screaming and asking for bucket loads of water. Rather able to hold a conversation and ask for a drop of water from a finger dipped in water Luke 16:19-31.

2. Jesus would not lie. There is suffering in fire in Hades. This punishment already suffered will be taken into consideration when your final sentencing and punishment is decided.

3. We are mostly clueless on the topic. All we know is that God is just and fair. The rich man appears to be new to Hades. Wanting Abraham to warn those he knew that are still alive. Perhaps his suffering would only be a week to a year? Would Cain have been near him in fire now lasting for around 6,000 years? We just don't know.

All we do know is that God is just Job 34:12 and will be an open book with His punishment of fire. Rev 14:10 He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.

Hades is a hell. Lake of fire is a hell. I am being pedantic on this as many think they are so smart quoting Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, Lake of fire. Everyone is currently in Hades or Heaven. Hades was divided with a great barrier separating a hellish side from a paradise / Abrahams bosom. Scripture heavily suggests Jesus completely cleared Paradise and took all to heaven. I firmly believe this. The entirety of those in Hades will be placed in the lake of fire Rev 14:10.

A digital ID has no evil attached to it. The mark of the beast will be ''the beasts mark''. It will be something you receive clearly knowing you should not take it as a Christian.

Note how scripture says ''worship and take his mark'. It all goes together.

But, having said that, due to the fact that the consequence is eternal damnation if you have it, it is certainly wise to avoid all forms of it. I would not take any digital ID.

Bottom Line (Biblical Takeaway)​

According to the Bible, the Mark of the Beast is:

• Not a random technology
• Not accidental
• Not merely physical

It is:

• ✔ A sign of allegiance
• ✔ A conscious rejection of God’s authority
• ✔ A test of faith under coercion

The message of Revelation isn’t “watch the headlines,” but:

“Remain faithful, even when the world demands compromise.”
