  1. I have read in the old and new testaments but never from the Genisis to Revalations in order. So I decided to do it. I'm part of the way through Joshua and I can't remember heaven and hell being spoke of so far. It seems odd to me. Any thoughts?
  2. Did you miss Genesis 1:1,8-9,14,17,20; 6:17; 7:11,19,23; 8:2; 11:4;14:19,22;
    15:5; 19:24; 21:17; 22:11,15,17; 24:3,7; 26:4; 27:28,39; 28:12.17, and 49:25? This is the book of Genesis alone. References are found in the Strong's Comprehensive Concordance about heaven. References on hell begin in Deut.32:22; 2 Sam. 22:6,
    Job 11:8, 26:6; Psa. 9:17; 16:10; 18:5; 55:15, 86:13; 116:3 and 139:8. These are only references through the book of Psalms. These references are given to you in the Strong's Comprehensive Concordance and are from the KJV Bible. You might like to find a Christian website that offers the concordance online. Would be beneficial to your reading and studying..
  3. What "bible" are you reading?

  4. The Old Testament equivalent for "hell" is sheol. It's also translated as "the grave" and "the pit".
