Don't you Hear my heart cry of sadness, oh Lord
Don't you know I'm drowning in my own tears
Where are you when I need a shoulder to cry on

Go ahead I hear your heart cry let it all out, let it all go on me
I am wiping the tears from your eyes, blowing your nose
My arms are around you, holding you tight

Don't you hear my heart cry of frustration, Oh Lord
Don't you see my anger rising about to explode
Where are you when I get out of control

I am holding the punching bag, my body will take it
My arms are around you, holding you tight

Don't you hear my heart cry of hurt, of pain, Oh Lord
Don't you see the beatings, the scars that I carry
Where are you when I need a miracle

Go ahead I hear your heart cry, let it all out, let it all go
I am putting on the bandaid, I am taking away the scars
The wounds, the scars are now mine

I have not left you, I never will leave you that's my promise
I will always care for you, I will always love you, that's my promise
Be still and know that I am God and you are my Child
