Hearing Jesus Speak

Hi all its my first post on this forum. I pray you forgive my spelling and grammar, its not the best. For most of my life i could not read or write due to being dyslexic, when I was at school they had no idea what that was. Anyhow i found myself wanting to know Jesus, He sounded cool from what people told me. Over 21 years ago I was told that to be saved I had to read the bible. Well that was ok for others who could read, but what about those that could not read. Now what gets me into a little trouble these days is when I say I hear Jesus speaking to me. Many find it hard to believe, why I have not worked that out yet. It started way back when I cried out to Him, I did not want to be left behind. I wanted to be saved too. But i could not read, I was in a mess.
I heard Jesus speak in side of me and from that day on until now Jesus has taught me to read and write. Only in the last two years we have been reading the Bible together and its great, I am reading heaps of stuff he said to me all those years. Its great to read it after he told me, any how I just wanted to know is there anyone else that hears Jesus speaking within them. He told me He has others he speaks to as well.

I know there are many that don't believe that Jesus will speak to humans, but I know He can. Its one thing to speak to me in english and teach me to read, but once He spoke to me in Hebrew and I had to repeat it to my brother. He was trainee priest but walked out on it in his last year. Jesus knew my brother knew Hebrew from his training. So Jesus asked me to repeat what I heard from Him and my brothers look on his face was priceless. My brother knew me and knew I was a lower school drop out, its was this that made my brother go back and become a priest. So i know Jesus can talk to us, I just don't know how many hear Him within.

One of our first chats, Jesus said to me "How does one see when he is blind, moreover how does he know he is blind when he sees" Jesus was talking to me about people who have place things before Him, people that have become rich in human wisdom and by doing so have turned away from Spiritual wisdom that comes from the Spirit of Truth. Oh it was around the time i found out that there are a few Spirits in God Kingdom. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Truth.

Any way, I was just wondering if anyone else hears within.

I have only twice in my life heard His audible voice. But, He speaks to me in my inner (spirit) man every moment of the day.
God meets each of us where we are and has a specific purpose for us all. Thus He deals with us and speaks to us each in a unique way.

Recently I myself asked Jesus to help me, I felt the need to say 'Sorry' to a Christian brother who had offended me, and I wanted him to know that I bore him no ill will.

After prayer, and by His grace I consequently met the man and was able to show my love for him in Jesus.

I prayed.....and then Jesus helped me.

Such is the pattern. Jesus wants to help 'all' who call upon His Name.

I have only twice in my life heard His audible voice.

I have only heard an audible voice once, when He talks to me I hear in in side me some how. I know its not my head because not much is in there and the stuff he says to me most of which I have not even known before.

Thus He deals with us and speaks to us each in a unique way.

He does for me it was the only way to reach me because i could not read. I just talked to Him, like I would to anyone. He said to me He saw my heart and that is why we talk, because of faith He said.

Such is the pattern. Jesus wants to help 'all' who call upon His Name.

He sure does Stephen, some times we as people limit Him to our understandings and in doing so block His Spirit from reaching deep within us. This is what He said to me anyhow. For me its easy, I have nothing upstairs so what He does is easy for me. Jesus said to me once, that our own human wisdom prevents us from being what we have been called to be.

I share this with you

I was feeling so down and feeling so beat up. I went to Jesus and open up to Him, letting Him know what I was feeling. I got a few people saying bad things to me over what Jesus was telling me to say. anyhow Jesus helped me see. I share this with you. Also it was great, i went to bed as He said to and read John, I can't remember the page sorry, but some one that knows the Bible will find it I am sure. What was written in John was what Jesus said to me before hand, it was great to hear this and then find it in the Bible, He does that to me all the time, its great.
Anyhow this is what i said..
Lord every thing I do I do for you, but that is not good enough. I feel I am just wasting time. Why tell me this stuff, when people don't care for it. Why can't I just go back to how it was, just me talking to you and you talking to me. Only very few hear what I am saying, I don't understand. I feel its me, have I missed something. Oh Lord I am so burnt out, my heart aches, take this away from me. I don't want to post anymore, I don't want to be on forums anymore.


The Lord said "Raymond, be still and hear what I say to you. It is writen "They will put you out of the churches" Raymond, many love me according to what they know, this does not make it right or correct, but its all they have. If a man is raised in a Hebrew house hold, does he not become a Jewish, or if a man is raised in a Catholic house hold, is it not so that he becomes Catholic, same with every Christian Sect, they become what they know. Why are you sad, I have put in you my words to share with those that would give ear to it. The Spirit of Truth is in you and I am with you, speak my words. The Spirit of Truth will convict the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgement. The Spirit of Truth will set my loved ones free from the bondage of human wisdom and prepare them for the time to come. Raymond, there are many that do not know me, they may know of me, but they do not know me. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide them into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears me say he will speak, and he will declare to them the things that are to come. When you go to sleep I will get you to read from the book of John and you will see this word is true and justified. So fear not, do not resist the Holy Spirit any longer.
There are hard times ahead, many of my loved ones will be lost due to not knowing, just as many will be judged because they did not obey my commands, you have a chance to free some of them from this, if you just abide in my words and continue in Spirit.
Do not lose heart, just remember I am with you, you need nothing more. You know your not alone in feeling this way, many felt this way and many more to come will feel this way. Faith is very hard, its why few find it.
Many say they believe, yet in truth they know nothing. They do not believe in my writen words, how will they believe in the Spiritual words."


i said "Thank you Lord, i will read the book and think about what you said to me. I don't understand how i can free some of them, but if you say so."


The Lord said "Remember, they believe in their way because thats all they have known, you will speak and give them something to think about. Those ones that have ears will hear, that is our focus, the ones that have an ear for the truth, as for the others, it is what it is."
