Healing

I truly believe there is healing in the word of God
Doesn't matter what the hurt is or the pain feels like
By His stripes we are healed

We ask God to be healed expecting it to happen instantly
But yet we don't always believe what His word says to be healed
One plus one doesn’t make three, neither does half believing

We ask God to take away the pain expecting it to happen instantly
But yet we don't always do what His word says for the pain to go away
One plus one doesn’t make three, neither does half obedience

We expect God to accept us into heaven by our merit
But, yet we don't always accept Jesus as the Son of God
One plus one doesn’t make three, neither does rejecting Jesus

Healing goes away by faith, pain goes away by faith, heaven takes Faith
Faith without works is dead, Faith without steps leaves, us standing still
Step by step in faith leads through the journey we must take to find peace

Want healing learn to forgive, want the pain to go away forgive the hurt
First step in healing is forgiving the past, letting go of the pain
Give Jesus the pain, give Jesus the worry and the healing will begin

This is very interesting:
1. Forgive the person
2. Forgive the hurt
3. Forgive the past

Three steps instead of one - I usually forgive the person, step 1, but still feel hurt - if I also forgive the hurt and the past, step 2 and 3, give it to Jesus then it makes sense that complete healing will be the result.

I'm defenitely going to implement all 3 steps instead of just 1.
