I wrote this in response to the 'masks' I see presented as a false facsimile of the real person.

Happiness does not lie,
Beneath the lying mask;
Death lurks there,
A death to slowly die...
Secretly peel'd and bare,
One question’s left to ask;
Will I die or will I dance..?
Is this my time;
Is this my chance..?

This is very a good poem and also very true.

People hind behind there masks of happiness and cheerfulness and we don't see that they are sad, lonely and troubled and actually dying inside.
They pretend to be well while they are not and in wearing this masks they don't get the support and help that they need badly.
The world can be very cruel and I think that people wear these masks not to appear vulnerable, because if you do you might be eaten alive by the sharks and the lions preying on the weak?

Blessings!
