Jesus came blessing people....and blessed folks to the very end of his days on this planet.
When the Lord was last seen, “he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them he left them and was taken up into heaven” (Luke 24:50-51).
His hands were lifted in the gesture of blessing as clouds drifted over his presence. Then angels assured the watching disciples, “This same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go” (Acts 1:11).
“In the same way” means with his hands raised in blessing. Those hands are still raised in blessing, even as I write these lines. Look at Him. He’s looking at you – ready to bless you TODAY. He is absolutely the same Jesus –
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrew 13:8). If you have ears to hear, then the Lord will give you hands to receive.
