Hey 
I found this website while looking for a Christian forum to make new friends, have new conversations and learn more about faith.
Just to put this out there so there is no deception, I am an Atheist. I have searched my whole life for truth and the nature of reality and after having a series of long talks with my father(a devout follower of Jesus) he suggested that I reach out to others so as to have a better understanding of why people believe and accept Christianity as the truth.
Growing up, I would read about all sorts of religions and spirituality all the time...my father suggested I read the Bible, which I have, but said I have to find my own path. For some reason or another my path has led me more and more to a state of non-belief. My brain will not let me believe....I have gone from being a child and believing in a higher power to considering it very unlikely and ultimately holding no belief in any version of God I have come across.
I know that most Atheists can come across as arrogant, but I promise I am nice guy lol...I don't think that Christians are stupid...I don't want to attack anyone just for the sake of validating my views or making me feel better than anyone else. I just really like to have conversations about religion. I will not be hijacking threads or disrupting conversations where I do not belong...but I think I can add to conversations for sure...and if anyone wants to ask me anything feel free to
I'm just an average guy, I live in Atlanta GA, and have a (almost) 3 year old son who is the light of my life. I am a musician and I record bands for a living. I have worked with many Christian bands and am still good friends with all of them.
I hope I can learn from you guys and make some friends in the process
