Hello friends,
I am a happily married man with 4 wonderful children. I love God with all that is in me. I believe that Jesus died to take away the sins of the world. I believe that it only takes dependance on Jesus thru faith to save a person from God's wrath to come. I believe that upon repentance, the Holy Spirit sanctifies us by applying the blood of Jesus to our lives consecrating us to be the temple of God. I believe the Holy Ghost, at that time, begins a progressive work of molding us into the image of Jesus Christ, the one and only begotten Son of God through gently persuasions in our hearts. I believe that when Jesus said, Be ye perfect even as our Father in Heaven is perfect, that he was not asking us to do the impossible. I believe that by beholding the lamb of God by keeping our minds fixed on Jesus daily that we can live a life without sin. Not that we have never sinned, or that buy not sinning we have earned anything, for salvation is the gift of God. In response to so great a salvation, however; we endeavor to live our lives apart from sin that we may please him who has given all. To live a life in willful sin after knowing this savior would be to mock his act of love. He is a God of abundant mercy and grace, so if we do sin after we know the truth, we still have an advocate with the Father: namely Jesus Christ.
I am happy to be among saints, and am looking forward to some rewarding Bible studies.
