Welcome aboard TaraLynne..............sorry I just can't add "in a box"
Sorry Rev and Tara...........I spent a couple of years in OK, a life time ago.............I remember red clay sticking on everything when it rained..........also more lanes heading out of OK into TX than there were coming in......always found that rather funny....
I do believe you have found a good place in TJ, where you can start renewing your faith.
As rev said if you're not sure then do as he said "ask Christ to fill you're Heart with His great love for you and call Him Lord of all"
You probably have, but the concept of being "Born Again" or the term "Saved" is not one that the major denominations which includes the Lutheran Church discuss in the fashion that it is here at TJ.
Here is an excerpt from the Lutheran catechism ""I believe that I cannot by my own reason or strength believe in Jesus Christ, my Lord, or come to Him; but the Holy Ghost has called me by the Gospel, enlightened me with His gifts, sanctified and kept me in the true faith; even as He calls, gathers, enlightens, and sanctifies the whole Christian Church on earth, and keeps it with Jesus Christ in the one true faith; in which Christian Church He forgives daily and richly all sins to me and all believers, and at the last day will raise up me and all the dead, and will give to me and to all believers in Christ everlasting life."
But because it's not mentioned in the terms that are used here at TJ doesn't mean that a Lutheran is not born again or saved nor that those here do not meet the standard set by the Lutheran Church as defined by the Bible for eternal life.
But this is the reason you came here!!!!!!!!!!!! To Grow sister and reconnect with the one who has never left you, who is Christ Jesus.
I will say again that you've arrived in the right place. There are many here who will fellowship, pray, laugh, cry, love you as befits those you can call brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus. All you have to do is ask. There are many here who right knowledgeable about Scripture and can help. One sure way, is for you to pray and ask Him if you don't know something. He will provide you the answer, though maybe not in the way you expect!
Well, I'm a talker, so I say again...welcome aboard!

Romans 10:9-10 [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
