"To do the will of God is the greatest achievement."
George Washington Truett

"Trouble should become a steppingstone to better understanding of the will of God and the teaching of the Bible, and also to mature and give us experience in our work for God."
Tom Wallace

"Some seek to live within the sound of church and chapel bell, I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell."
C. T. Studd

We should always say, .....
Not I,
not me,
not my,
not mine;
but He, Him, His.
He is the first and the last and everything in between.
Christ, only Christ

(JN Darby)

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
Gal 2:20

Surrender yourself to God. Wish for nothing but one thing: that his will be done, that his kingdom come, and that his nature be revealed. Then all will be well. -Eberhard Arnold

"You cannot do God's work without God's power."
John R. Rice

"Numerous Christians do not know how to glorify God in their eating and drinking. They do not eat and drink simply to keep their body fit for the Lord's use but indulge to satisfy their personal desires. We should understand that the body is for the Lord and not for ourselves; hence we should refrain from using it for our pleasure. Food ought not hinder our fellowship with God since it is to be taken purely to preserve the body in health."
Watchman Nee

My talent on one of my Thanksgiving show

Probably one of my most favorite edits, as a Public Access Producer at WCTV Ch. 17 out of Wheaton, Il. Through the interview, 1/2 hour of Eddie Williams (the father) and Son Arion, Eddie quoted three quotes, I liked. Gee that was 1990 or 1991? the year, Newtek's Video Toaster came out for the Amiga. I moved his audio up to the beginning of the show with his three quotes and put them over his son who, was maybe 11 or 12 years old. Arion the son was LOOKING at the computer screen of his fathers illustrated, two pilgrims, praying, a boy & a girl pilgrim. Eddie had a big booming voice, I wanted to shock the audience into watching, to see where that voice was coming from, and then go into the intreview with both of them.

Today and everyday, I can only remember one quote. Have to watch the show again.

"If I don't make it you won't see it" Eddie Williams 1990 or 1991

God bless the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 2:7

Where are you Eddie Williams?

I enjoyed that. They just do not have programming like that anymore.

"Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to McDonald's makes you a cheeseburger!" - Keith Green

On being a Cheeseburger

giggles

You are passing your giggles on giggles. I laugh a lot too. I have enjoyed my life.

Is Keith Green the one that died in a plane crash? Forgive me if I am wrong.

I spent 20 years producing TV shows. What I liked about being a Public Access Producer. You could do whatever you want. All they wanted was your programs to fill the hours. Never had to have a meeting, just book the studio time and do whatever. The equipment was free, training and all. I am on churchmedia. And I see the churches with their struggle, in the use of technology. I always felt the Wheato, Il, churches did not take full advantage of the opportunity at WCTV. although some did. WCTV was an exception, we could apply for grants and everything for our shows or the studio's computers to do whatever made your shows possible.

My grandchildren say they grew up in the studio and the Billy Graham Center as we lived a block away. Nothing about our home. Go figure.

Of course of the whatever for some folks was not too nice. Your programs run before and after some very contriversal shows. And you would rub shoulders with some very unusual people, but that is the real world.

BTW: I am new here and can't find the spell checker

Yes it is a crazy world! I use FireFox for it's built in Spel-Check.

"That strong self-assertive will of mine must go to the Cross, and I must give myself over wholly to the Lord. We cannot expect a tailor to make us a coat if we do not give him any cloth, nor a builder to build us a house if we let him have no building material; and in just the same way we cannot expect the Lord to live out His life in us if we do not give Him our lives in which to live. Without reservations, without controversy, we must give ourselves to Him to do as He pleases with us. “Present yourselves unto God” (Romans 6:13)."
Watchman Nee

On July 28, 1982, there was a small plane crash and Keith went home to be with Jesus. The crash also took the life of his three-year-old son Josiah, and his two year old daughter, Bethany. Melody was home with their one year old, Rebekah, and was also six weeks pregnant with their fourth child, Rachel. Keith was only 28 years old.

I found that on the Last Days Ministries website. That Keith Green's website.

G4G Keith Green was a man of God and a Psalmist of the highest caliber. Sadly for us he has departed but awesome for him he now lives in God's manifest presence.

"Sometimes He has to turn your life upside down
so that you can live it right side up."
