Mark 4:3,4,20

3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4 The sower soweth the word.

20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

1.) There are some aspects of the word I think we have over looked and have not gotten the full benefit of. Just from those verses right there we can draw some conclusions. 1.The sower went out to sow, that means he's talking about seed. 2.What is the purpose of sowing seed, to see or have something in the future. What you sow you will see or have in the future. 3. He tells you what the seed is, the word of God. So, when the word of God is sown, at some point I'm suppose to see or have what was sown. And to a large degree people have been satisfied with hearing, but never seeing. Getting happy over the word, but never experiencing the word. Notice, when the seed found good ground it brought forth fruit, fruit mean manifestation. The ground is the heart of a man, it refers to the inner man. In that same chapter Jesus made a statement that I think has been overlooked, but if you ever get a hold of what he is saying. In Mark 4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested. He's still talking about sowing seed. When you put a seed in the ground you can't see it, but in a matter of time the seed you put on the inside you will have the actual thing on the outside. In Matthew 9:27-30 Two blind men cried out to Jesus to have mercy on them. And Jesus asked them, Do you believe I am able to do this, and they said yes Lord. And he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith be it unto you," and their eyes were opened.

2.) Notice, Jesus made reference to whether they believed he could or not. Anytime you refer to what a person believes you are referring to the heart of the man. Because, Romans 10:10 says, For with the heart man believes. And Jesus touched their eyes and said unto them, "According to your faith be it unto you," and there eyes were opened. What he was saying is according to what you have on the inside(Heb 11:1) be manifested outside. This is the same man that said, There is nothing hid which shall not be manifested. Notice, he didn't say to the men be healed or receive thy sight like he told blind Bartimaeus. Jesus was making a point, he said what's inside be manifested outside, because the evidence of what's on the inside of a man is a manifestation outside or in his life. Now, why is that. We have to go back to the beginning Genesis chapter 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. The word fruitful means to bring forth. He's not just talking about having babies. Just like God commanded the earth to bring forth, that's why the whole world doesn't doubt if I put a seed in the ground I'll have the thing in manifestation. If I put a rose seed in the ground, give it water and light at some point I will see or have an actual rose.

3.) That's the same way it works on the spiritual side except the seed is the word of God/the water is the word of God Eph 5:26/ and the light is the word of God Psalm 119:130/and the ground is the heart of man. Notice, in that 28th verse it says, God blessed man. What did God bless man(spirit) man with the power of increase, God put increase in you. Notice, Leviticus 26:4 this is on the natural side: Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. So, when seed is sown when water hits the earth then the land will yield her increase and the increase will cause the seed to yield it's fruit. Now, see if you see the comparison on the spiritual side 1 Corinthians 3:6,7 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. God put increase in you, but it's up to you to work it. Every time you hear something it is either being planted or watered and increase is on the way, that's why Jesus said, Take heed what you hear. And in Proverbs 4:23 God says to guard your heart will all diligence. Guard what's being planted and watered, what's going in it.

4.) Look at what God says in Joshua 1:8: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Success is tied to the word because the word can't fail. Notice, He said that the word shall not depart out of thy mouth. Why, Romans 10:8 says, the word is nigh you even in your mouth and in thy heart that is the word of faith which we preach. He says to keep the word in your mouth because that's how it gets in your heart and whatever gets in your heart God has already commanded to be brought forth. That's why He said to guard it with all diligence. A lot of times we are looking for God to do a miracle and God is saying why don't you release it. Notice, the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34 the first thing she did was she heard of Jesus. The second thing she did based on what she heard was to say, If I may touch, but his clothes, I shall be whole. The Amplified Version says for she kept saying, what's happening it's getting in her heart. The third thing she did was act according to what she said, because the scripture says faith without works(corresponding action) is dead.

5.) And when she touched virtue/power flowed out. It had no choice, but to flow out. Because, in the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established. God was the first because He commanded man to be fruitful/bring forth and Jesus was the second he backed him when he said, there's nothing hid which shall not be manifested. She had it in her heart and when she said it she released it. Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. It says the person brings forth, isn't that what God commanded. And The Holy Spirit carries out what God's word says. In Genesis 1:1-3-

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Notice, the Spirit of God was there, but didn't do anything until God said. The Holy Spirit also carries out what Jesus words says. John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. And also when the word is preached The Holy Spirit is the one who confirms it. Mark 16:20 says, And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. The word preach simply means to proclaim, speak out.

6.) So, the power had no choice, but to flow and heal her. And in verse 32 it says, And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. Wait a minute, her that had done this thing. What thing did she do, she brought that forth out of her like Luke 6:45 says and so can we. Why do you think Proverbs 4:20 -23 says: 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Look at Acts 14:7-10 7 And there they preached the gospel. 8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: 9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, 10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. Wait a minute, Paul didn't pray for him, he didn't lay hands on him, he didn't call on the name of Jesus. Notice, Paul perceived that he had faith to be healed. So, Paul perceived what he had in his heart/spirit and simply gave him an instruction because he was due a manifestation. And the man leaped and walked because there is nothing hid which shall not be manifested. So, if you get it in your heart from the word God has already given his stamp of approval.

7.) The tendency is to think that you have to wait on God to do a miracle, notice what Jesus told the woman with the issue of blood in verse 34-"Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. Hebrews 11:1 says, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. How can you have the substance and evidence of something that doesn't exist. So, before you can have the substance and evidence of something it has to exist first, but it's in the spiritual. In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said, "If ye have faith as a seed." Well, a seed is always the product of a finished work. You have to have the fruit first before you can have a seed of it. And a seed only produces a copy never an original. So, God has to do the miracle, in the spiritual, before you can have the faith for it and receive in the physical. She could not have had the faith for it if it was not reality in the spiritual first. Faith deals with what is not what will be, but it is in the spiritual. Before I can have faith to receive something here in the physical it first must be there in the spiritual. It has to be reality in the spiritual before it can be reality in the physical. If it doesn't exist in the spiritual first how in the world could you ever have the substance of it. If it doesn't exist then there is no substance of it, so you couldn't have the faith for it.

8.) In 1 John 1:5 it says, God is light and James 1:17 says, God is the Father of lights. And the lights He is the Father of is us, all that are born again. Well, Ephesians 5:13 says, Whatsoever doth make manifest is light. That word manifest means visible/clearly seen/appear. Now, he is not talking about like when you go into a dark room and you turn the light on and see what's there. No, that word manifest is the same word in 1 John 1:1,2 - That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) What is he talking about, he's talking about something spiritual taking on physical form. He's talking about Jesus, he was the word(spiritual) manifested in flesh(physical). Notice, as a child of light we should be taking the word and making it a physical manifestation. And God has given us the tools to do it His word and our heart. Notice, what the word calls Jesus (the word made flesh). So, Jesus was manifested word, but he was not manifested word out of God's mouth. No, he was manifested word out of man's mouth.

9.) 2 Peter 1:21 says, For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. God gave them the word, but they had to speak it because mankind has the authority in the earth. In the beginning God spoke, but He handed that over to man when He said, Let them have dominion. Now, the word has to come out of us. Back in the beginning when God said, Let us ..., who was He referring to. It was God the Father, The Word, and The Holy Spirit. It was all three working together. So, when God said, "Light be," all of the Godhead was involved-The Father, The word, The Holy Spirit. Notice, word had to go forth, God didn't think "Light Be." The difference now is God has included us, it's still the three working together. The word comes from God the Father, but man has to speak it because God gave man the authority, and The Holy Spirit carries it out if you believe it. So, it's still-The Father, The Word, and The Holy Spirit. The word is waiting on you (good ground), The Holy Ghost is waiting on you just like in Genesis, because He can't act on his own, He needs some word from who has the authority. First it was God, then it was Jesus, now it's us. God's word and your heart is a unbeatable combination. Those two are a force against anything. Let the word be made flesh out of you.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The Word of Faith movement is a gospel of falsehood, and its teachers are false teachers. They pervert Scripture to turn faith into power, man into authority, and God into a servant of human words. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10: 17), not by creating reality with your mouth. It says that the Holy Spirit works as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:11), not as man commands. It says that Jesus is the eternal Word made flesh by the power of God (John 1:14, Luke 1:35), not by man’s confession. Paul warned that if anyone preaches another gospel, “let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8–9). Word of Faith teachers preach another gospel, and according to Scripture they are deceivers.

The Bible never teaches that faith is a force or that whatever you confess with your mouth will automatically come to pass. Faith is not a magical creative power. It is the belief in the living God. Hebrews 11 doesn’t give us accounts of Noah, Abraham and Moses “manifesting” things with their words. They just simply obeyed God because they believed Him. They directed their faith towards Him, not towards themselves. Romans 10: 17 says, “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”, not by the power of our own words, nor by some human imagination but by the revelation of God, in whom true faith rests.

Jesus is not the product of man’s confession. John 1: 14 says, “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” The Word of God became flesh in the womb of the virgin Mary. Luke 1: 35 tells us He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. If He came by the mere confession of man, then the incarnation never happened.

The Holy Spirit is not helplessly awaiting man’s words before He can work. Scripture says, “The wind bloweth where it listeth… so is every one that is born of the Spirit” (John 3:8). The Spirit is at work “as he will” (1 Corinthians 12: 11), by the sovereign will of God, not the sovereign authority of man.

When Jesus told the blind men, “According to your faith be it unto you” (Matthew 9: 29), He wasn’t teaching that faith itself had the power to heal, or create, or materialize. He was teaching that the faith in Him produces that which only He can give. The woman with the issue of blood was healed because she believed in Jesus, not because she released some latent law of manifestation within her. That’s why Jesus said, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole” (Mark 5:34). Faith is never directed to itself. It is directed to Christ.

The parable of the sower is not about material manifestations or man-made realities, but fruit. “He that received seed into good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty” (Mark 4:20). The measure of seed is the measure of our hearing and receiving of God’s Word into a good heart. The fruit is not a display of power, not a supply of self-created “need,” but the fruit of righteousness and obedience. Jesus says, “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples” (John 15:8). True fruit is Christlikeness and holiness and the works that issue from abiding in Him.

reminds me of the "sons of thunder" argument the synagogue of Satan insists on... you know..."go jump off a cliff and the angels will catch you!"

or all those parts in the OT where God is focusing on Israel, and the demons scribbled "and Judea!" next to it. Bearing false witness is for the Hellbound.
