How great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!
(Psalm 31:19 )

We all face various problems in life and we lament in tears. Each one of us face hardship and become broken vessels languishing in sorrow and we shed tears in solitude.

The Bible says God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ into this world to sacrifice Him for our sins and to bless us through Him. Lord Jesus was the delight of the Heavenly Father and He allowed Jesus Christ to suffer for our sake. “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him, He has put Him to grief” (Isaiah 53:10). His own people, His brothers and brethren opposed Him and spoke against Him with disdain (Mark 3:21; John 7:5). Even the time came when His disciples forsook Him and fled (Mark 14:15; Matthew 26:56). As He was put to grief as a broken vessel in isolation, He is able to understand your state of loneliness that has made you into a broken vessel.

The Bible further says, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9). Yes, the Lord became poor for our sake so that we might become rich.

You may be a broken vessel in this world and everyone may despise you. The Lord Who was broken for our sake says, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

Once, a man was going in his car and it suddenly stopped by the runway. This man did not know what to do. He tried to stop the cars that were going by and tried seeking help but none offered to help him. Finally he stopped a car and requested the person driving the car to give him a lift to his destination and told of his car problem. The person got down and started to repair this man’s car and set it right. The car owner was astonished at his ability to fix the problem within few minutes. The man who repaired the car said, “If I cannot repair the car, then who can? I am Henry Ford, who manufactures these Ford cars.”

Seek the Lord diligently and like the person who fixed the problem of the car because he manufactured those cars, God Who created you will set right the problems you face in life. The Bible says, “How great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!” (Psalm 31:19). Holdfast to Him and He shall change your brokenness and lift you up to a blessed state in life.
