Religious Christianity focuses on the fact that we are created for God, we should worship Him, and do many things to please Him.
They also say that if we do or don't do certain things, then God will remove his hand of blessing, or cause calamity to come upon us.
But God is not like us. He is not hot tempered and He is very wise. Even when we commit great sin and do not repent, as in the case of David who committed murder and adultery, God waited about a year before holding David to account.
The Bible says, that God is for us.
God is for us, more than we are for Him.
God does many things for us, not according to our right or wrong, but simply because He loves us.
Rom 8:31-32 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Psalm 40:5
Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.
