Come and see the works of God; [He is] awesome [in His] doing toward the sons of men. Psalm 66:5 NKJV
God is not a human, and that means He doesn’t change His mind. God won’t tell you He loves you one day and then turn His back on you the next. That’s not who He is. He wants you to know that His character and love are consistent. He wants you to depend on Him, especially on days when your life seems to be falling apart.
When you feel like God is distant and nothing makes sense, let His love for you be the anchor that keeps you stable in the storm. Only then can you see each day as a gift to be enjoyed with your heavenly Father.
As you study God’s Word, let it fill your heart with truth. Let it be your spiritual food that keeps you satisfied all day long. Tell God everything that’s on your heart. He wants to listen to you because He loves you and wants you to spend time with Him every day.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for listening to me when I come to You. Help me remember that You are always with me and that You love me. Thank You for giving me this new day to spend in Your presence Help me to bring you glory today.
