Glorious Blessings Are Ours:
God Has Adopted Us As Dear Children

_______________

I am a Father to Israel,
and Ephraim is my first born.

Jeremiah 31:9 KJV

_______________

Doubtless thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our Father, our Redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

Isaiah 63:16 KJV

_______________

But now, O Lord, thou art our Father;
we are the clay, and thou our potter;
and we are all the work of Thy hand.

Isaiah 64:8

_______________

God Loves You!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

John 3:16-18 NIV

_______________

Thanks be unto God for His wonderful gift:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God is the object of
our faith; the only faith that saves is faith in Him.

The Fellowship of Believers

They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.

And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had. They sold their possessions and shared the proceeds with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity-- all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.

Acts 2:42-47 NLT

Early in the morning still half asleep I hear the birds singing – I can hear - what a glorious blessing?

I open my eyes and see a spider running down the wall – I can see – what a glorious blessing?

I look to my right, my husband still fast asleep – I have a wonderful partner – what a glorious blessing?

I get up to wake the children – I can walk – I have two wonderful children – what a glorious blessing?

I touch my daughter’s hair when I wake her up – I can feel - what a glorious blessing?

I spend some time with God this morning before going to work – I have a work – I am saved – what a glorious blessing?

I prepare breakfast for the family – I have food – what a glorious blessing?

I dress for work – I have clothes – what a glorious blessing?

I lock the house when leaving to drop of the children at school – I have a home a car – what a glorious blessing?

We tend to take all these things for granted, as if we are entitled to it because we worked hard for it.
But do you ever stop and think who gave you the strength, the wisdom, the health and all your other capabilities to be able to work hard for everything that you have.

Our only God and Father in heaven, the One that deserve all the credit – He gave us all these glorious blessings!

Amen

Blessings!
