Amen. When we look to the scriptures objectively it becomes obvious that Christianity is the most reasonable faith. To not believe is to look at truth and reject it. With the advances in current cosmology, archeology and history, the evidence of a supreme creator is evident and the evidence for the truth claims of Jesus Christ should lead man without a doubt God.

I am also fascinated by how much of the Gospel story is found in Genesis, particularly in the lives of the Patriarchs and in the life of Joseph.

Robin I'm not sure how much this is correct concerning the Hebrew and English of these words,but I do find it fascinating,and I have it on a Chuck Missler vid

Adam means- Man (is)
Seth means -Appointed
Enosh means -Mortal or frail
Kenan means-Sorrow(but)
Mehalalel means-The Blessed God
Jared means-Shall come down
Enoch means-Teaching(that)
Methuselah means-His death shall bring
Lamech means- (the)Despairing
Noah means-Comfort or Rest

Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow,(but) The blessed God shall come down teaching(that) His death shall bring the despairing rest(or comfort).
