Please forgive my sense of humor, i am sorry for posting if this is not funny...
There are 3 students one doing Information Technology, another Telecommunications and another Legal studies. If they introduce themselves then;
the IT student will say; "i am an IT student"
the Telecoms student will say; "i am a Telecommunications student"
what about the Legal Studies one? The student will say; "i am a legal student......."
