for when you reach rock bottom

The bottom fell out today
im no longer living the comfortable way.
In my worship and my sleep is the only time that i find peace.
I want to hide from life awhile.
i thank you for this test i'll do my best to change,
my life my mind an d hope have been rearranged,
but now i have to go back and face the judges of my past,
I am determinded not to fall into the same traps
i will never go back,
even now i feel the enemy attacking my mind
but he will not prevail god is on my side,
i'll never go back
i wont loose this passion and zeal,
cause now these are the only things real,
empty words can fool ones heart,
and empty promises can tear you apart,
but i cry out from wence comes my help,
show me how to love myself
the way you love me,
lead me bold into the fire,
i will no longer be hurt by the words of a liar.
humble i stand before you
your will is all i long to do,
fill this vessel if it be your will,
or shattered if it be your will,
cuz if you allow it be broken,
its to form it closer to perfection.

How true is that!!!!!Loved your poem, sounds like something i would write

Heres one for you- God can do more with a broken heart because he places it back together with peices of Himself. God bless you !!!!!!!!

More than 40 years ago, I was so utterly humbled by "the rain pouring down, the rivers overflowing and the wind blowing hard" against all I had. At rock bottom, the only way was out, a.k.a., a suicidal relief! (Matt. 7: 24-27)

For a simple sacrificial act of a father to his son, however, Jesus Christ did one better, i.e., He mysteriously revealed himself and spoke to me in the kind of death He suffered on the cross (which has remained my passion) and pulled me up from the complete darkness into a wonderful light that I had never even dreamt existed. (John 12: 32-33)

The light is still shining bright agsinst all odds! PRAISE THE LORD!
