Romans 2:25-29
For circumcision indeed is of value if you obey the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. So, if a man who is uncircumcised keeps the precepts of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision? Then he who is physically uncircumcised but keeps the law will condemn you who have the written code and circumcision but break the lawJew . For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. But a is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God.
Ephesians 3:6
This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
Gal 3:28; There is neither Jew nor Gentile, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Romans 11:24
For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.
Seems Paul goes out of his way in the NT to tells us NOT to make a distinction on Gods people by the color of skin, but only by the condition of the heart.
Yet when you listen to preachers they are constantly telling us there is a big difference. They train us to consider the church is in no way part of Israel, but is their any actual scripture for this?? I can no find any, and when I ask people who believe this theory they talk awhile about a big picture, and understanding certain things, but never give any scripture to support it. They says look the OT is written to the Jews and look how much bigger it is then the NT, yet no scripture, I have seen some actually become angry when pressed for scripture to show me the huge distinction. I am not saying its not their, but I can not find it. Seems if you just dont take there word for it, well then you just can not see the big picture.
SO is there any straight forward scripture that says we should consider the church and Israel different?
we know we are fellow Heirs, grafted into the olive tree, most consider the olive tree part of Israel is my understanding, we know Paul tells us being a Jew is not something of race matter but the condition of the heart, seems if we are saved by the blood of Jesus there is not difference to me?? other then the Jews are the natural branches and we are the grafted in branches. yet all part of the same root.
