For my Family

Please pray for my family. I know my problem is not the biggest in the world
but it's really stressing that there's so much going on. There is all this financial troubles, debts that gets in our way of everything in our lives. My parents haven't gone to church in such a long time! So many years have gone by and they seem so restless at this burdens and are so chained up by them and those problems are linked to more problems branching them out. Yes, they still believe in God but I feel that their trust and faith in HIM to give it all to HIM is growing dimmer. My older brother has completely fallen away from God. He is currently an atheist but I know that he yearns for HIM deep down in his heart. He is so blinded by the world that he refuses to let God do works in his life. I've tried talking to him about the LORD but he just simply ignores it stubbornly and criticizes me and christians. Right now, he works to support our family and he's resting a semester at college because we don't have enough money. I'm graduating in June and I don't know if i'll be able to get into a good college and get scholarships so I won't worry my parents. Things are hard for me right now. I've tried praying about it but I feel that I'm too weak to go on. I know God will answer my prayers, but it's really hard when I don't "see" any progress going on...
Chuck keep your eyes on the Lord. He is in control. No matter what it looks like.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Keep connected to other christians.
Talk Jesus is a good place for that. I hope you are also connected to a good youth group.

Your sister in Christ.

Thank you so much. It really means a lot. I hope that many people will be able to go to Christ also, for those who are also suffering.
Hang in there Chuck

:rose: I have a lot of financial and religious stress in my life too Chuck and I am much older than you. My answer is always to think to myself that Jesus says, "look at the birds clothed in splendor". Do not worry, much more will be given to you.
An our Father for you right now, that you will be able to continue in school and that your family comes closer to our Lord. Amen :rose:
thank you for your words of encouragements. It's so amazing how we can forget about God's grace so easily. Thank you for the reminder :D
Chuck, I will keep you and your family in my prayers (and have been since first reading this post a couple days ago). Most of us go through financial struggles at no matter what age. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, get to college. I didn't go until I was in my 30's and had three children. I'm 42 now, and consider not going to college right after high school the biggest mistake I've ever made. Best of luck, Bill
