Flower Woman
There was this woman loved to watch flowers grow
Through the planting into the sprouting with each rain
Each basking in the sun the flowers grew
Until one day they bloomed spreading out their peddles
As if reaching up in praise to they’re creator and provider
Giving thanks for watching over them
She may never be a Pulitzer prize winner or be called a saint
By the priest hood but she had won the hearts that knew her
More importantly the hearts of her Children and grand children
Like the flowers their seeds were planted then sprouted given birth
Then with each nourishment of yes and no they learned as they grew
With each bite of the bread of life and drink of the living water
Until one day they bloomed spreading out their lives in her ways
They too started planting seeds of their own watching them grow
With more bread of life and drinking of the living water
Together they spread out their peddles praising in one accord
As a family of one give thanks to their creator and provider
Giving thanks for watching over them till each one goes home
