Are you having a bad, boring day? It doesn’t have to remain that way. There are some things that you can do to make it more interesting.
What is one of those things? Here is a simple suggestion. Find someone you can serve today. Perhaps it’s your neighbor. Or maybe it’s a friend. Or perhaps it’s a complete stranger. Or even a family member.
It doesn’t matter who, just find someone you can go serve. Reach out. Help give him hope. Make the person’s day a bit easier and lighter.
Then see if your own despair starts to lift. See if your depression starts to go away.
It’s a way God has wired his universe. When we give our lives away, we receive joy in return.
It is more blessed to give than to receive. It’s a law of the universe.
