Lately I feel like upset/angry with God. I like it but I feel like everything I've been praying for or asking God for help with, i feel like he isn't listening to me. Like he's taking away the things I care about, the people i like. And i have been having the same dream over and over i feel like he is trying to tell me something but i don't what. help

Emm12: praying through the Psalms always helps me when I feel angry or as if there is somethng between me and the Lords goodness. Pslam 22 and 42 especially. Tonight before I sleep I will pray His Spirit reveals understanding about your dream and for others to have insight into it should you choose to share it. I want to encourage you that no emotion is bigger that His love for you and 1 John 4 20 says "G-d is greater than our conscience and He knows everything.". He has loved me and grown me through a lot of distrust and I know His shoulders are the biggest and can handle anything we may rail against Him.

God took everything I ever wanted in life away emm. And I don't mean most things. I mean everything. Everything I thought I wanted that is. I could go into great detail and scriptures. But this is all I'm going to say.

Everything I ever wanted... kept me away from God, and everything I ever wanted were things that were hurting me, not helping me, even though I didn't see it that way.. God knew it.

God is our Father. He knows life is hard. And if those things pull you away from Him in His eyes, He will take them. Because the best thing for you in life is to be close to Him. He will not stop until you are safe in His arms.

P.U.S.H. Pray Until Something Happens

Pray and pray and pray. He will show you what He is trying to tell you when you seek Him. Pray until you fall asleep, and when you wake up, begin praying again.

There is no better advice that I can give you for what I just read that you are dealing with. God loves you, and He wants you to come to Him. He is the only one who can tell you what it is you are looking to know. The answer is in Him. He wants you to trust Him.

Pray.

Sister Emm12,Sister, you are not alone!! LOL I fully understand this even at my tender age of 61, lol but perhaps I can help you to understand many times why we feel like this. There are indeed times in all of our lives where the Lord wishes to play a game with us,it is called hide and seek!( Isaiah 45:15!!)

We know that our Jesus never leaves us or forsakes, but yes sister he will indeed hide many times from us,and with a purpose!! For me sister my dream involved a clock which did not work, and the reason the clock in my dream did not work, was because there was no one to wind up that clock daily. Holy Spirit meaning.

In prayer after much waiting( Isaiah 40:28-31) Holy spirit inside me delivered to me this scripture, with this message." Because both daughter ship, and son ship, depends greatly upon the time one spends with there Father, many of my children have look to isolated themselves from me,because they are busy in there own lives, doing things they themselves wish to do,but suffer greatly because of this.

For I wish to spend time with my children,I do not care for anyone or anything coming before ME! The clock represents your time, and since the very Word of God himself is the very seed( Luke 8:11)causing time to move in ones life,it stops because the daughter, or the son refuses to spend the time needed to stay in my word, so that I can speak to them through my word!" Hence winding the clock daily!( 2 cor 13:5) which of course requires us dear sister to examine ourselves making very sure we indeed stay in the faith to start with! i hope this bring you comfort, for truth always comes with grace!( john 1:14) It is not the time for anger, but rather a times to examine.Blessing to you!!( Psalm 27:13)

It isn't the exact same dream per say, more like the meaning is always the same but I'm in a different situation each time. Basically this guy I have been talking to for about 5 months now we have decided to end it because we both felt it wasn't time for us to start a relationship right now even though we still do like each other. But ever since the day we decided to be friends for now, I have been having these dreams where we are about 1 or 2 years older and we are a couple, however it always starts off showing me and my ex doing sinful things in the first 2 dreams I denied my ex and right after it shows me and the guy I have been talking to together and happy, but last night in the dream I did not deny my ex, and I ended up making the new all upset because he found out, and he was heart broken because he was waiting for me for us to be in a relationship but in the dream I had last night it seems as if I ruined the chance by being with my ex. These dreams have been going on for 3 maybe 4 days now and last night was the first time that the ending had been me ruining something good.

Hi again emm12,

There have been many times when I make a good decision and then things get really difficult, what's dark is trying to shift my focus to a circumstance or person to discourage me, or invoke fear about the best and new path, healthy habit, or decision. I echo Ceptors PUSH, and also encourage you to say a Scripture or two aloud before you sleep tonight. I will fight back with you too and say these for the both of us.

John 3:17. "For G-d did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him."

John 16:33 "These things I have spoke to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you may have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world."

Jr 29:11 "for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Psalm 27(my favorite Psalm) :14 "wait for the Lord, be strong and let you heart take courage; wait for the Lord."

It sounds like you found some advice that helped you, so I will only add some humor. Concerning the 2 good dreams out of three... well, they say 2 out of 3 aint bad.

John the Baptist expressed so well what is needed and what is not: "He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30.

The Jesus in me must increase, but the me in me must decrease. This is the "new man" and the "old man" of which Paul writes:

"Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:" Col 3:9-10
