Fallen Angel seducing woman to produce the Nephilim.

I was pretty surprised to find a sculpture very similar to this in an antiques/decorator centre 150 yards from my previous home!
Who could want such a thing apart from it being a fine example of Italian marble craftmanship?

6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2; That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3; And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4; There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

The childen were the various giants, the Nephilim, the Rephaim etc as mentioned in the Old Testament.

Verse 4 seems to mean that either GOD decided humans would henceforth only live a maximum of 120 years - although yesterday one was stated to be 136!; or else the fallen angels didn't start lusting after the women until about 120 years before The Flood of about 1650 years after Creation?

But how much destruction of Earth, the animals and humans could the Nephilim do in just 120 years. And could they have built all their megalithic walls and cities in just 10 years even with the help of their fallen angel fathers?

I don't believe fallen angels mated with human women. The 120 years is likely a reference to the 2000 years that man would suffer under the curse. The word translated "years" in verse three refers to cycles. It could be years. However, it could also be 120 cycles. I believe it's in reference to the Jubilee cycle which was 50 years. Fifty times 120 equals 2000. Several of the early Christians wrote about man being under the curse for 2000 years.

The fallen angels mated with women just as the sculpture shows.
Even today Satan's Second Gang of Fallen angels mate with women by materialising males bodies we call incubusses.
Some materialise female bodies to seduce men as they sleep.
