It is common for 'believers' to think sin is wrong, but its "ok" to sin because we are sinners saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8) and of course, "we're just humans". The truth of the matter is, sin is not ok. Yes, we are saved by grace, but what do we do when we sin? We rebel against GOD.

What should follow, should we end up sinning from falling into the temptation? Repent, seek forgiveness in Jesus Christ. That is, without delay, for you do not know what will happen next. Do you want to die in your sins?

Proverbs 27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow,For you do not know what a day may bring forth.

In our walk with Christ, we will fall. That is the simple truth. However, we must get back up and try again. If we have a bondage, we must pray for deliverance and repent as well. We must rely faithfully on the strength of Jesus Christ alone, not our own will power or understanding.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Here is an example of one falling in sin, and getting back up to trying again. To press forth by GOD's power and to be free in Jesus Christ of all bondages that may grip us. In parenthesis is the comparison to a believer's circumstance.
A child learns to ride a bike and will fall many times in the beginning [babe in Christ, maturity begins]. The child is not mean to cry [lose faith] and give up [walk away from Christ]. Instead that child is meant to get back on the bike and try to ride again without falling. Eventually, the child will be able to ride the bike without falling [maturity increases]. However, there may be a few pebbles and branches in the way that may cause the rider to fall again [stumble, sin]. The rider will need to get back on the bike once again, and ride on. [press forth in the race to reach the goal: Hebrews 12:1]. The bike is not meant for us to fall off, but to be ridden.
Like the child on the bike, a believer is not mean to leave his sins unforgiven, his bondages undealt with and continue stumbling. We are to lean on to Christ, nail our sins to the Cross and press forth faithfully, prayerfully, joyfully hoping for a new day.
