2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight
“Today’s a new day…” and for that reason alone, I’m so grateful and thankful. Faith, the action word! Isn’t amazing how we often put our faith and trust in men and women and they seem to just always let us down? We put our faith and trust into material objects and they fade away and disappear.
The great thing about all of that is that we have the option, the choice, the major decision of choosing to put our faith and trust into a being that is greater than any man or woman; someone that will always be a constant in our lives and who we can depend upon. He will never let us down; never fades away; never disappears. Jesus, He’s always there.
Personally, everything may not be going the way I would want it to be going in the various areas of my life right now, BUT I still have that surety, that trust, that hope, essentially the FAITH in God that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that I can ever ask, hope for or think.
Ephesians 3:19-21
19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Every plan and vision for your life should be rooted and grounded and taken before God. Ask Him to guide you in the right paths, ask Him to open and in some cases close doors. Ask Him for vision and clarity and discernment. And remember that faith is an action word. If you are seeking a job, pray about and then put yourself out there; send out your resumes and let the job market know what an asset you would be to their establishment. Enroll in programs and courses that will add to your marketability. If you are seeking a mate, ask God for His guidance and also ask for him to help you discern the wolves in sheep clothing. If it’s a better work or home environment you’re seeking, take it to Him and prayer and change your attitude and way of thinking. Think positively and take time to ask yourself “what would Jesus do”. Try treating those persons around you the way you would expect to be treated. If you want to have a closer relationship with God, make the time to study, understand and apply His word to your life, pray daily and let your life be an example, and so on….. Point being, let your FAITH become an action word!
I have so many plans, so many desires, so many dreams, so many aspirations that cannot be physically seen right now but I have faith in God that He’s able to bring them all into fruition. Continue to walk by faith!
Have a blessed, safe and prosperous week yall! Live, learn & love….
