Hi, me again....
I want to start by sharing something beautiful.... a blessing to me from another member here at Talk Jesus, to the glory of God in Jesus Christ the Lord.
A member of His Body sent me a PM and in it was a line that renewed in me the special honour we have as Christians...
It is my joy and pleasure to minister and touch people's lives
.... and reminded me so clearly of the wonderous love we have in Jesus in that as we are loved by Him and desire to love Him, He gives His strengthening joy and pleasure that the world can not give, as we minister His love and reach out in love to help one another, in the name of Jesus.
It is so very relevant to this thread, too. As we reach out in love, we are blessed with joy unspeakable and all the pleasure of this world cannot compare to it.... and in this magnificent work of grace in Jesus toward us who do not deserve all He offers to those who will but only believe, all lies are silenced, and only the Lord Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords and King of Kings is glorified and praised in our hearts and minds.

Dear Father, Abba Father,
I ask in Jesus name for Wendy, my sister through Jesus Christ the Lord, for your blessing of confidence and boldness,
to know that she is one with you, to know that in believing you have made her a joint heir with Christ, your child,
Father, and that she be filled with your reassuring love and to be able to rejoice in you and your Salvation....
yes, Father, I ask also that you refresh her memory, to speak truth to her hearing every time the liar attempts to poison her beautiful mind with his deceitful poison.... and the Word becomes life to her spirit and soul in power and truth, that though she is only new in human terms to your family, Father, that she, Wendy, my precious sister will know without a shadow of doubt that she is sealed by your Spirit, eternally one with you, one with Christ, one with His Body, Father, and you have transformed her into the Kingdom of your dear Son Jesus Christ the Lord, and that now she is as if she has always been, your blessed child of grace, a child you love and protect, a child justified fully in your sight by the precious shed blood of your beloved and begotten Son, Jesus Christ the Lord....
And Father God, I take these lies....
1-I haven't been born again long enough for God to hear me and work miracles and move mountains in my life.
2-What makes me think I am important enough in such a short time that God will grant me the desires of my heart?
3-You don't pray right.
4-Others ahead of you have worse troubles and my trouble isnt that big compared to others.
5-Great things from God only happen to other people.
6-You will never get over the feelings of hurt and brokeness.
7-God will let you suffer awhile before he helps you.
.... and declare them now, in Jesus name to be silenced to be destroyed and powerless against my sister Wendy.
And now, Father, I ask in Jesus name that Wendy will know that you love her, and that knowing she is comforted and healed from all past hurts, and restored to fullness in Christ.... give her please words of comfort by the Holy Ghost, to assure my sister of all she now is in Christ, and that you have begun in her a wonderful work of grace that no man can ever take from her, and no lie can prevail against.... and Lord the comfort in prayer, confidence that her prayers are as heavenly perfume to you, well pleasing in your sight, and that they touch your heart Father, as I know how you delight in our praying to you, our asking of you that you may give to us, that you may bless us so abundantly in your love.....
oh Father, I ask that Wendy be strengthened with your joy, and be able to rejoice in tribulation, and not to run or hide or cower from it, but to be able to rejoice knowing that she is complete in you and made whole by your mercy and love and eternal fogiveness in Christ Jesus the Lord.... and Father, beautiful Abba Father, in Jesus name I praise you and thank you for hearing our prayers this day... bless you Father.... we love you.... amen and amen.
The Truth

4- I have the right to come boldly before the throne of God to find mercy and grace in time of need. Hebrews4:16
5-I have received the Spirit of God into my life that I might know the things given freely to me by God.1Corinthians2:12
6- I have been rescued from the domain of satans rule and transferred to the kingdon of Christ.Colossians1:13
7-The sacrifice God wants is a broken spirit-God will not reject a heart that is broken and sorry for sin.Psalm51:17
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Now I need to tell of more lies that so often come my way....as if in complete contrast to the ones I told you of before, but from the same liar.
Our walk is upon the narrow road that leads to life, and at each side are treacherous snares and evil intent, to draw us from the Life in Christ if it were possible. In respect to lies, on one side I have nothing but trappings of feeling so totally useless (as I already shared here) and on the other...
equally devilish filth telling me how great I am.
All day I looked for the slippery little serpent, knowing he was there but he knew he was going to get exposed and slithered from my sight, until at last I caught his dirty little tail and before crushing his crafty and evil head in Jesus name, I drew out the lies and weapons he so often uses against God's elect....
his name?
Pride.
Yes, how often I have puffed up my wretched and disgraceful flesh with words like....
hey, you're great at that!
See how people respond with nice words and compliments? At least you're not mixed up like they are ... you are getting quite a name for yourself... hey... blessings and revival will come from YOU and YOU will be famous....everyone will know about you.... so make a really good job of it so everyone loves YOU and even Jesus will be able to say, Yeah... he's my buddy isn't he great!
And when I get a response from people who go against me, even though I love them and am almost sleeplessly in love with them in Christ, this sort of lie appears... Stuff them! They can shove it! Who do they think they are, challenging me!? If they only knew who they're messing with.. I'll fix them... jerks!
Something happens all the time in my life and being such a slow learner, I am still needing to be told by the Lord to pull my head in and listen to His way of thinking.... when something goes wrong in my plans, or someone 'makes' me late to somewhere that I, yes big I , considers important and is important to ME, how often I have got very grizzly, ugly and profane..... only to be put right back on track in God's love.... as He unfolds a marvelous blessing He had planned for me, and I could only receive by being late, or needing to do something differently than how I, big-clever-smarty pants-me, had planned.... and in so doing He brings me again to His wonderful love..... and on that note, believe me... the LORD is a patient God.
So, Pride manifests it's ugly little snout in my life with all manner of deceitfulness, egging me on to exalt myself and think highly of myself...
two sides of the narrow path.... same deceiver whispers, and at times shouting, temptations to turn away from worshipping and honouring God in Jesus Christ the Lord ... yes same liar on each side.... but what he doesn't seem to ever get is that I am now a child of the Almighty GOD and King of Kings, Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords and He will always keep me from evil.....why? Because He loves me, even me.
PS, the devil makes me look like a fast learner! I thought I was slow, but that slippery serpent has been trying to deceive God's elect for a couple of thousand years and still hasn't learnt that he is defeated and and useless, and though we may stumble at times, the Lord Himself is our keeper and is Faithful and True, and there is nothing the devil can do to seperate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus the Lord!

Psalm 121
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Just as we have the Comfort of the Word, the two edged sword of the Spirit, we also have the warnings and exclamations that ought put enough fear into us to keep us from danger, and as I have received His comfort when feeling down, He has also in His love made clear to me the error of my ways through His Word so that I will continue to walk with Him in His Way of Truth to Life.....everlasting... thank you Lord Jesus, thank you.
