"The ernest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the man of God - Romans 8:19
This marvelous passage (Rom. 8: 18-22) would require angelic eloquence to do it justice.
The apostle says that all creation, which mysteriously came under the curse of mans Fall, is at the end to share in mans redemption; it is to be completely changed and to enter on 'an endless aeon of indissoluble life and splendour'
Many and great are the beauties and uses of nature, but in it are also dreadful and devastating forces, which act with impersonal ferocity - flood and flame, typhoon and tornado, volcanic eruption and cyclonic destruction.......There are also savage beast's, poisonous reptiles, loathsome insects..........
Very graphic is the apostles declaration that all creation, as though listening for the footfall of God, is 'waiting-with-outstretched-head' for the day when redemption shall be accomplished, when it too 'shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the 'children of God'
It is when this takes place that 'the hills shall break forth into singing, and all the tress of the field shall clap their hands'; that the wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose: that the wolf shall lie down with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid.......and they shall not hurt nor destroy' Isa 11:6-9.
Then shall the whole creation 'groan and travail in pain' no more.
That day is coming....and may be nearer than we think!
