Today is election day,
Oh my! What to say?
God will protect us,
I cant understand, why all the fuss?
I don’t know what to think, God bless,
Our country is in such a mess,
These days make me ponder,
But have no fear, God will work a wonder,
He’ll guide His children,
Don’t fret over the bind the US is in,
Today we need to let our lights shine,
& leave all of our burdens behind,
Today we need not worry about tomorrow,
Christ will keep us from our sorrow,
Our love for our Savior needs to grow,
& to everyone let it show,
Witness to a friend,
Tell them how its gonna end,
Make certain they know who will win,
Be sure they know who to trust in,
On morals this country was formed,
But they are no longer adorned,
Babies are being killed,
Gay marriages sealed,
This world is gonna end,
& when that time comes it will be to late for an attempt to mend,
So honor the Lord,
& from this election move forward,
Live for Him,
Don’t act on a whim,
God’s children will be okay,
& this is all I have to say!!
