A Disciple's Song

Oh I jubilantly say what a glorious day
The stone has be rolled back, and our sins forever taken away
Just last night Jesus lay lifeless in the tomb
Now it is just an empty hollow room
Just last night I cried as I watched him suffer and die
Burdened with grief as I said goodbye
A man whose only crime was teaching and sharing love
A man who while getting baptized the holy spirit descended upon as a dove
A man who showed us how to be free from bondage of sin
A man who ultimately taught me how to live again
Oh how I shall remember this day forever
And Jesus promise to be with me through every endeavor
Without him I could not live nor survive
But now I walk with hope because Jesus is alive

Thank you for the above post.

"This is a song about His ressurrection:
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit praises His name,
Even death could not hold Him captive,
Even in the grave, He is Lord..."

This song ministered unto my needs (not wants) this morning in the service, the last stanza that says "Even in the grave He's Lord.." i had to put my need in that situation and sang "Even unto that NEED You are Lord..Even in my life...Even in my vision...Even in my valley of dry bones...Even in my family...Even upon my work...You are Lord!!!" My spirit was lifted thus my faith elevated and i give all glory and honour to God. Indeed He's Risen!! :announcementfly: Halleluyah to the lamb of God!!

I just feel within my spirit to say this, Let's learn to minister unto our spirits the word of God like i did on the above post. The bible says your tongue has power. Power to create or destroy, its upon you to choose.

Now whenever you're cast down in your spirit, dont wait on sunday for the preacher to lay hands on you or for a 'prayer warrior' to pray with you, speak the word of God unto that situation and believe God for intervention. Am not saying that preacher should not pray for you, all am emphasizing is to put your faith and what God gave to you in action. Let me ask, if you feel discouraged today, will you wait for sunday for the preacher? You've got the word( bible) with you, minister unto your needs in Jesus Name. God bless!!

Hello QuietProtest

If it's okay with you, I would like to also post an Easter Poem. Let me know if I may!
