Dying in Korea

My name is Michael. I have taught in Korea 10 years but am now isolated. No one can understand English. I believe I would be of more service back in the states. Koreans view me only as a way to make money and they don't want me to leave. God's Word is blocked. I really would like to see an American Christmas after 10 years as Korea is a non-Christian nation. At this point if God would allow an airport location by His Holy Spirit work in an American church it would be a great gift. I want to come home but need a point where an airplane can land. All previous efforts to leave here have been blocked by
miscommunication and the desperate spiritual condition of Korea. I'm concerned that my failure to get a lot of prayer (as I have no English church here) has allowed Satan to set up strongholds. My health which has been good has suddenly come to heart problems, no sleep and a dangerous daily trip to work.

There is a Buddhist willing to hire me and give me a room so the school they run can let their children feel and touch me like an animal in a petting zoo. I love children and why I have been here in Korea 10 years but believe the children of the US would be served better by my efforts.

Dying in Korea -Alive in Christ - Praise

I Praise the Name of Jesus! Someone prayed for me. I’m free of the Satanic trap and now sleep well and heart may heal. Dying in Korea is what may be the Lord’s will but to die for Christ is great gain Philippians 1:21. I still have heart problems but with medication I may be able to delay the inevitable.

I have been a Christian since 1976 and lived under the dales idea that Satan can’t touch me anymore. However, living in a foreign world can make it easy to do something that blocks God’s work when you
believe it to be His will. Praise God! Praise God I’m free!! I used to lay awake with my mind under constant attack because of trying to think of a way to help a person who is going to lose his school. It was horrible. No sleep every night to wake exhausted.

But the other night when I posted “Dying in Korea” asking for help. I had wondered why I didn’t get free from the oppression even after prayer in Jesus Name. Then I posted and remembered the words of
Jesus, “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (Mat 17:21) and began a fasting. After the post for help I slept deeply and dreamed a wonderful dream of healthy service for Christ. I woke refreshed early in the morning and the Holy Spirit (such a sweet voice to hear again) told me to get up and eat well. Last night I went back to sleep and this time I had a hard time sleeping because my mind was being flooded with beautiful Holy ideas for serving our Lord. I had to pray as before, “Please Lord take these good idea and hold them until the morning so I can be sure they are from You and to act on them.
Because of your honest prayers (Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16) the prayers of Jesus and my prayers and fasting I now have the strength to go through the prayer list on Talk Jesus and pray for others. Thank you my brother’s and sisters in Christ’s family. Be sure that I have received the greatest Christmas present ever.

Philippians 1:21
”For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” By your prayers if I live I will live unto Christ but if my heart fails I know for absolute certain I will find great gain and final rest in His Kindom!!

Thank you and Praise Jesus again and again for the victory in His Name. I don’t have a fellowship due to culture, language and location but you have been my fellowship though the Internet.

Update - Korea

My name is Michael who asked for prayer from "South" Korea. Thank you for all who prayed. I'm back in the USA and have found what I needed and got back to the USA.

Now that I know the US sees North Korea as a place the Gospel must go to, I would like to request prayer that I get to North Korea as soon as possible. I know the way in and I know the language, now I just need to fly back with the gear I have to get in to stay.

I would rather die in North Korea trying to share the Love of Jesus than sit here in the States where I have not found fertile ground to sow on.

South Korea wants to follow America's example and North Korea is ready to use nuclear weapons in a way that will make people see September 11, 2001 as some small event. I would rather give my life for Christ trying to get the Word into people of North Korea in hopes a major nuclear disaster is aborted.

Please pray me into North Korea!! The error that was posted was I was in "North Korea" when I was actually trapped in South Korea. Now that I'm out, I need a miracle to get back quickly before winter makes the crossing difficult. Being trapped in South Korea (or the US) is worse than giving one's life for Christ in a country that needs help. I want to go on record as saying that I for one do not expect to sail into heaven "on flowery beds of ease while other fought to win the prize and sailed through bloody seas.

I hope prayer brings a swift open door to go back and head to North not South Korea. At this point I have the equipment to make the crossing of the waters but if I do it from where I am now, it will take a major miracle which is closer to suicide if I try and cross the 300 miles of arctic ocean between where I am and the Russian far north in a small kayak. Better to buy a cheap plane ticket to meet my in-laws in South Korea where I can just take a bus to the short 30 minute crossing I know about.

I hope to post an answer to prayer soon. A brother in Christ who is in South Korea now is trying to find me a job that will pay my way there but recent bureaucratic changes necessitate papers that take too long and cost too much. I have duel citizenship which helps when meeting other Koreans if I just go on a cheap flight.

How to explain this story has been a challenge. There is a sinister shadow fallen across the land as the smoke of huge forest fires burning here in the Interior of Alaska come and go here in the Interior of Alaska.

I have tried to tell them about what I discovered about my country the United States of America as the world outside see this country and all it has done in the tiny span of 200 years; many people understand and sympathize and admit something must change while others don't want to hear anything about it. Because of this, the world now sits amidst a field of nuclear weapons which they have lost any ability to account for.


I guess you can say that those who started this fire have a blood infection which can only be cured by a special transfusion. Even yesterday I saw with my own eyes children of this land who are already damaged beyond understanding by the blood infection that began the fire. I saw this kind of damage and corruption of young children's lives before I left for Korea in 1998 to escape to a land where families love and cherish their children. After living 11 years among a people who actually worship their children, it is literal horror to come back to a land that sits in the shadow of darkness to the poor children I left; this was my vow before I left Korea, to return to the victims of a battle and fire that the children of Korea are protected from all this life in childhood.
