Does God speak through dreams?

I had a powerful and very vivid dream around a year ago. It involved myself moving to a new town and experiencing a spiritual Christain conversion.
As 'luck' would have it i ended up with a job in that very same town (there was no prospect of that at the time of the dream), and am increasingly finding myself drawn to faith in Jesus.
I am not making this up, i would just like to know if people think this could be a coincidnce??

Yes I believe that one way God communicates to us is in dreams and visions.
I don't believe in coincidence, I believe that HolySpirit is drawing you to Jesus, seek Him out and He will reveal Himself to you. You don't need to go to a church to find Him either, He will reveal Himself where you are.

Yes I agree God speaks to us through dreams but a child of God does not live a life of luck neither coincident but of divine appointment.

Job33:14-18
For God may speak one way or in another
Yet man does not perceive it

In a dream, in a vision of the night
When deep sleep falls upon men
While slumbering on the beds

Then he opens the ears of men
And seals their instruction
In order to turn man from his deed...........

Welcome to this forum and I am glad to meet you. May you, and me ,
be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. God gave dreams to a lot of people in scripture before Jesus came to earth and after. I have dreams which he gives me as well. Whats cool in what you said you did not try to tell us exactly what was meant for you in your dream. It seems you are waiting on God to reveal his truth to you. This is amazing! Your waiting on the Lord Jesus to knock on your door of your heart and not man. You want the real deal of him closing and sealing your faith in him by the Holy Spirit. You want to hear God. May God bless you. I will keep you in prayer.

Some of my fondest memories of the Lord is when He did speak to me in dreams. It reminds me of Joseph and the famine whenever someone mentions dreams. Sometimes my days are too hectic and even if I try I'm not settled enough to really be in the silence to hear the Lord. He often speaks to me in dreams, or I awake extremely early in the morning to the sound of Him speaking to me. It's during these times, I truly hear Him. I've learned to keep a journal at my bedside because sometimes I fall back asleep and don't remember!
