Common translations Heb 1:9
(AMPC) You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God (Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions. [Psa_45:6-7]

(NIV) You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy."
(NKJV) YOU HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD, HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS MORE THAN YOUR COMPANIONS."
(NLT) You love justice and hate evil. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.”
(NRSV) You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions."
(NRSVA) You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions."

The NIRV removes the deity of Jesus, even though it is used in the original Greek.

To help put this in context.. what is the verse immediately before verse 9? Verse 8 of course.

Heb 1:8 But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.

Father God, calls Jesus the Son... "God".

The Bible says there is one God.

Mal 2:10 "Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers?
1Cor 8:6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.
1Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

But Jesus says He and the Father.. "are one".

John 10:30 "I and the Father are one."

John 14:8 Philip *said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us."
John 14:9 Jesus *said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

Jesus.. the God of creation.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

Jesus is God, and He is "with" God. Jesus created everything. Nothing was created that He didn't create.

Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.
Col 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Col 1:18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

All things were created by Jesus... Genesis says God created the heavens and the earth. Everything visible and invisible was was created by Him.

Some people take Col 1:15 to mean Jesus was "created". But no.. that isn't what it says.
The physical universe didn't always exist. God is older than time. Older than the universe.
Jesus existed before He created the universe. However when He finally got around to creating the Universe... Jesus was the "first" born
of creation.

Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Gen 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

It says here "God said".... we will make man in "our" image. God's image.. not the angels image, not anyone else's image.
God's image. But God say "our" image.

Rev 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."
Rev 21:6 Then He said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.
Rev 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

Jesus is the alpha.. the first letter of the Greek Alphabet. Nothing existed before he did.

Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—
Rev 1:6 and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Rev 1:7 BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
Rev 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

This passage starts off identifying Jesus.. "the faithful witness".
The next verse says "He" made us to be a kingdom.. who is the "He" here? Jesus of course.
Continuing on to verse 7... "He" is coming in the clouds.. who is the "He" here? Jesus again...
So almost all red-letter Bibles put verse 8 in red letters. Red letters signify that Jesus is speaking
We have already identified in the previous 3 verses, this is Jesus, this is about Jesus.

Jesus is saying "I am the Alpha and the Omega".. says.. THE LORD GOD. Jesus is God.
