Do you support the concept of "pro-choice" on abortion?

I'm on another Christian forum and many Christians there say that they support abortion. I was surprised to learn that their moderators also support abortion. The forum is ChristianityBoard.com In fact, when I asked the members, and the moderators, if they could explain their support of abortion, they refused to answer. And when I pushed them to answer, management BANNED me. I never imagined that I would be banned from a "Christian" forum for challenging abortion. Obviously, abortion is a protected "sacred cow" on ChristianityBoard.

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

Is killing a baby in the womb a return to the evils of child sacrifice??

Incredibly, a LOT of "Christians" support abortion. I've been banned from TWO large Christian forums for daring to question those that support it. It's like a "golden calf" to them, apparently.

I get banned here on a regular basis.
This time for 7 days from a thread on to take the coronavirus vaccine or not.
Apparently management support only one side of the debate.

I know my opinion doesn't matter but, frankly, I think it's STUPID to ban people for the offense of hurting another's feelings. If you run a DISCUSSION forum, then permit discussion, even some less than pleasant discussion. I've participated on many message boards and the majority of them have moderators who are quickly and easily offended and who ban everyone under the sun. And then they wonder why their forum is so small. LOL!

Spent a few years moderating. It is not as simple as some think.

To me, a good moderator engenders discussion. Many moderators, however, annihilate discussion. I participate on another forum and the owner/moderator only bans porn and threats of physical violence. One can call him every name in the book and he won't ban them. Yes, he permits the expression of ideas, even the expression of UNPOPULAR ideas. Most people don't make good moderators because they want to censor and ban the expression of unpopular ideas or ban people for being "rude". That's petty.

@Waggles
Try telling the truth before you bear false witness against the Forum that you appear to enjoy participating in.

Is boasting your biggest problem, perhaps?

For public information, a Moderator banned Waggles for a month along with another Member who was actually Waggles in disguise.
Waggles had been playing folk out.
Deceptive behaviour. And he knows it.

Waggles was given a seven day reply ban for promoting hate and blame against people who have not had the vaccine jabs that everyone is talking about.
And he knows it.

Lies.

Now, for Waggles and K9Buckeye, I have a question, if you do not like the way these forums are run, why are you logging on and posting here? @Waggles @K9Buckeye

If you do not like things here, please complain to the Administrator @Chad

Did I complain?

You condemned the other poster for dishonestly mischaracterizing what happened and then you did the same thing by disingenuously implying that I had taken umbrage with forum management.

Can someone enlighten me as to the offense that I have apparently committed?

In any event, I'm starting to get an inkling as to why this community is so small. As I said, on message boards in general, many "moderators" annihilate discussion.

Back to topic, for the purpose of debate, putting aside Christian and Biblical standpoints, if a girl or a woman has something growing inside of her, that's part of her and in a few months will begin a life of its own, growing up to live out a childhood and hopefully flourish into an adult, a next generation... but is snuffed out as a foetus because of inconvenience, takes a woman / girl who thinks but has no heat or doesn't think. The question isn't choice, it's her being God: does this foetus live or die? I decide.

But then what do I know? I'm only a man.

The whole precept of Pro Choice is that it is the woman's choice. The decision of life and death of the forming baby is the sole decision of the woman - it's her body, her choice is the mantra that chanted. Whether that baby lives or dies in her womb is her judgment without regard to boyfriend or Husband and executed by her gynaecologist. She is God and has passed sentence on her foetus often without regard to the will of her husband / boyfriend / acquaintance and more importantly the will and desire of our God.

To any woman reading this who's had a termination and now regrets it, I don't hate you.

We've all messed up and made poor choices in our lives which just underlines and emphasises why we need God. There are no decisions too big for Him, so from now on give them to Him, praying for the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Be assured that no sin is bigger than Jesus' victory. You've already repented, now confess and move on: your sins are forgiven and so God loves you no less.

Greetings Andy,

of course there are also scenarios where a mother might be bullied into doing something against her will. And, the scenario where the father does not offer any support and care or guarantee of being there or of any help.
A woman may get pregnant and get scared or worried/anxious and really needs some support from both the father and others, like family or friends.

Not all families are nice and can break a woman one way or another.

While we can shoot down the woman for being her body and baby, there are plenty of variables and i am quite sure you know that but thought i'd add it to the discussion. Not only for the discussion here but also if a reader has aborted under either forced, hostile or 'brokenness' or all three.

Blatantly not giving a care for the baby is not something we should be proud of. Those with that mentality don't care anyway but for those who have undergone abortion of their baby due to things like i mentioned, i do feel for them and i am sure that decent people would be caring towards them as it would be very difficult thing to have to deal with.

Something you and i will never even get close to grasping, being the male.

Lord help us all, we need you

Bless you ....><>

Didn't you hear? You can claim to "self-identify" as a woman and then, just like that, you have a uterus and can espouse views from a "woman's" point of view.

For most women that decide to kill their child, it's not a matter of "choice", but of CONSEQUENCES. They made their choice when they freely engaged in sexual activity and now they don't want to face the consequences of their behavior and are taking the seemingly "easy" way out.

In society today, and even among many Christians on Christian message forums, telling the truth is a revolutionary act and many don't want the truth to be said. Jesus told the truth and he was executed for doing so.
