1 Thessalonians was written by Paul about 25 years after Jesus converted him on the road to Damascus.

In chapter 4 he wrote about how the dead in their graves would be resurrected in two batches: The first are martyrs who will be the 144,000 to govern Earth unders Jesus's rule; the second are all the other dead who will be resurrected on Judgment Day.

13; But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14; For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15; For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16; For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

17 means the rapture the surviving Christians will enjoy as they are uplifted while Earth burns and upheaves as today's 'civilisations' are all destroyed.

Genesis 10:14: The upheavals will be the same as happened in the Days of Peleg which GOD caused to physically separate the family groups that had been helping Nimrod build his Tower of Babel - the precursor of Rome's Satanic Catholicism.

Isaiah 40:4; Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

Incidentally Thessalonians makes fools of all those who claim the dead fly off to heaven or hell - as no one asleep knows anything and thinks nothing unless having a dream or nightmare. And how often can we remember the delicious dreams or horrible nightmares? They somehow don't get files in our memory banks?

Jesus spoke about the Rapture:
Matthew 24:30-31
At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. / And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Isaiah 26:19
Your dead will live; their bodies will rise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust! For your dew is like the dew of the morning, and the earth will bring forth her dead.
40:4; Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
Earth wil be remade as a warm fertile land with no icy mountains or deep oceans - just one huge fertile garden - a Greater Garden of Eden.

God’s acts of justice do not mean he is abandoning his covenant promises. He will renew creation and establish his Kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
