(Note: the following is a discussion about the atoning death of Christ and our part in it.

Question, did what Jesus did for those He did it for, ensure their Salvation ?

  2. Not sure your question, but he died for everyone, but not all are saved.

  3. If you believe He died for everyone but everyone isn't saved, its safe to say that you don't believe that Christ shed blood alone for someone is enough to save them.

  4. He died for everyone, but not everyone will choose to receive His grace and forgiveness.

  6. What Jesus did was open the Door/Gate into the Tree of Life which was closed when Adam and Eve were put on the outside. Everyone is invited to com and eat of the right Tree, But a person who enters unprepared or improperly prepared will be prevented and put back out:

"And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
For many are called, but few are chosen." Matt 22:11-14

  7. By not believing in Him is rejecting the free gift of eternal life. That is why those who do not believe in Him are already condemned ( John 3:18 ) as they are rejecting the life line; the antidote, the very means to save them from an eternal separation from God and all that is good.

The preaching of the cross is effective in saving any one as long as they believed in Him in order to be saved. That is the only way one can be saved by believing in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  8. Which we can only do by faith in Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd in helping us to follow Him rather than by looking to yourself in doing the best you can by keeping that commitment to follow Him.

We either testify of our faith and hope and confidence in Him in helping us to follow Him as His disciple or we are not in following Him at all, and have not ceased from our works to enter into that rest. Hebrews 4:1-3 & Hebrews 4:9-11

May the Lord set us free from all yokes of bondage to rest in Him and His promises to us for following Him since we cannot finish by the flesh what was begun in the Spirit.

  9. So you don't believe that the blood of Christ alone shed for a person saves a person. Yes or No?

  11. Not when they do not believe in Him and His shed blood for them, no.

That is like ignoring the lifeline thrown to the sinner in the quicksand. It's there; His blood has been shed for them, but by not believing In Him and His shed blood for them, they are not taking that lifeline.

  12. Then that's unbelief. If you don't believe tbat Christ shed blood alone saved you thats not Faith in Christ.Your faith is in what man has done to save you.

  13. Please look over the scriptures I posted, and compare them against your statement that I quoted above.

John 3:36--"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

John 12:48--"He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day."

Psalm 50:22--"Now consider this, you who forget God, Or I will tear you in pieces, and there will be no one to rescue you."

John 3:18-19--"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.

Matthew 10:33--"But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven."

  14. So you don't believe the rest of the Bible has any value? Yes or No?

  15. I have no problems with those scriptures. You care to explain them since you bring them up ?

  16. Yes i do. But that question is irrelevant to the point. If one believes that sinners Christ died for are still lost and condemned then that person does not believe in the saving efficacy of Christ Blood. That's unbelief!

  17. If you dont take communion i.e remember Jesus body and blood, everytime you eat and drink, does that mean you dont believe?

Cos I know some people that say they believe but they never take communion ir the Lords supper in church, or at home either. Because Jesus said we must eat his body and drink his flesh, that is a sign we do believe. If we don't its unbelief.

Sinners are not lost and condemned until their last breath, WE cant say they are condemned only God can judge that. Jesus is mighty to save. However many people actually choose not to partake in the Lords supper so we cant force anyone against their will.

Beloved you better read the bible and pray for wisdom cos you being disrespectful of people who arent even arguing against you, and you not making any point that Sue hasnt already shared.

  19. Greetings,

"But that question is irrelevant to the point." No, it is not. It may be irrelevant to you but it is not irrelevant to the point unless we all decide to pretend the rest of Scripture is obsolete.

"If one believes that sinners Christ died for are still lost and condemned then that person does not believe in the saving efficacy of Christ Blood." If a person does not believe ("That's unbelief!") that Christ died for sinners (in the saving efficacy of Christ Blood), that person is still lost and condemned.

    Bless you ....><>

  20. Yes it was irrelevant. It has nothing to do with whether or not one believes that sinners Christ died for are still lost. If one believes that then they don't believe Christ death alone saves.
