Dealing with the devil acting through people

ive for about a year had an issue with a coworker that started out fine but later on i realized he had a major pride issue among many other things. about half a year ago i decided to just entirely ignore his existence but his will to disturb my life never ceases, he has gone down the sociopathic way of trying to make the whole workplace believe that i take tools from my coworkers and bring to my own table and just today has gotten some success with this narrative after spending maybe 4 months "getting well along" with everyone by telling them what they want to hear and not having emotional breakdowns insulting people for not doing what he wants them to do

im unsure how to deal with this as a christian at this point since it only appears to escalate and get worse
prayers, verses and suggestions are very much welcome

ive thought of putting up a camera, hidden- in case something should escalate but i reckon it would be a lot of work for me to not only set it up entirely secretly but also take all the data- again without anyone noticing and could possibly get me fired if found out. perhaps i just gotta last it through? ive hoped for a long time he just found another work and even one time gave him number to a previous workplace which he didnt get anything out of except trashtalking me to my previous boss (and that was when we were on good standing with each other..)

camera is a decent idea, another is a small voice recorder kept on your person to record the times he verbally abuses you directly, and another option is a new job away from this person

the voice recorder is a sneaky one although its quite rare, besides since its in a welding workshop it would be very hard to hear anything, and the actual concern is also rather him accusing me of stealing stuff from others.
a new job would be great if i was a normal person, i rarely stay one place more than 1 month because of exactly people like this getting me fired for all kinds of strange reasons, typically these people are in the management or on good terms with management and we currently really need me to stay employed for a while due to being in the process of taking a loan

Yes, that sort of people always makes a place insufferable. And the worst part is that others may believe him more than yourself.
So, you have not a lot of variants if you want to keep it nice and clean because that sort of behaviour is hard to deal with nicely

Do you have a church or prayer group ... you certainly need to be praying to God the Father real hard! Others praying for you too, is a great idea ... I pray that Father God will hear your pleas, guide and keep you safe

ive explained some situations to my boss just so hes not caught in the middle of something odd and we generally have the idea that the man is vastly challenged, im very tolerant to these people as my wife got to see the other day when we were faced off with a literal portal to hell and my wife almost lost it and i just sailed effortlessly through the most vile person she ever met

maybe god keeps that guy at my job on purpose.
i will continue to pray for him as dealing directly with me wont be very fruitful and since i really need to stay low profile with the job by all means for now.

Sounds like you will both grow tremendously from the experience (others too maybe, as they watch you keep your cool). Yes, I know that they are sneaky, but they eventually get caught out. Keep speaking to Father God, and keeping your cool ... know it can be very challenging at times xxx
