Please pray for my 17 year old daughter.

She suffers with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia, General Anxiety Disorder and Deliberate Self Harm (cutting)

Her path is far from the Lord and she literally sticks her middle finger up at anything to do with Jesus..

She has admitted she is deteriorating

I reach out but she rejects which is heart breaking.

She needs the Lord......

Please pray for a miracle breakthrough.

But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Sending unconditional love from the bottom of my heart.

The miracle of healing is coming true - now.

Prayers assured sister. I have experienced similar, don't talk Jesus to her, love her. Silent prayer when with her, intercessory prayer in your closet in faith is all that is needed.

She is just waiting to here the word Jesus and will react, don't mention Him to her just love her, the spiritual head of the family can claim her salvation in Jesus Name, this should be the man but if the man is a lost soul the woman, the mother can claim her salvation.

Miracles will happen, God's speed.

Faith hope and love, the greatest of these is Love.

Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding...

Bless you

Hi Grace, oh what aa awful dreadful situation, heartbreaking. From your short post it seems as though there's something going on there. Your daughter is rebelling and kicking out at the one person who loves her the most and who she loves the most, by flatly rejecting the one thing that defines her mother, her faith. She's also slowly and deliberately trying to do herself in, maybe as her means of hitting out at and hurting her mum.

Maybe she has a mental health issue or maybe she has been really hurt and is blaming you and sees her hurting herself as some sort of revenge. I'm assuming whichever is the case, she's getting psychological help in working her way through this.

All you can do is love her, keep talking to her, telling her you want to make her happy and content, lots of encouragement and don't be afraid to express and show your love. Discuss things with her, nothing to do with her symptoms, on a one2one enquiring to get her views and opinions and share yours on things like fashion, music, politics, environment, films, sport, anything, just try and draw her in and be her best friend as well as her mum. Hard I know in the circumstances but try to have fun with her, laughter is a great healer of the mind. Hopefully, and with lots of prayer, she'll open up to you and together you can start to resolve whatever the underlying problem is.

Paul is absolutely right, there is no need or purpose in preaching, I'm assuming she already knows of the love and calling of God, so your patience and love will say more than a million sermons.

==============================

Dear Lord God, thank you, thank you for our kids, they are such a source of blessing and we love them to bits but because we love them so much, they are also a source of great pain for us, particularly when they are struggling. I pray Lord for my poor sister Grace who must be beside herself, sick with worry, feeling so impotent and unable to help and sort her daughter's issues and problems that seems to be dragging her down.

Lord, we may feel impotent but in truth we're not, we have you dear God to look to for solutions. Your power is immense and mighty, mightier than we could even begin to appreciate. Your love is unending. We pray Lord for extra helpings of your Holy Spirit for Grace, lead her Lord in giving her the wisdom to draw closer to her daughter and help salve her problems with lots of love and understanding.

I pray to for her daughter, please Lord please, open her eyes and help her to appreciate the love of her mum and reach out to her mum for the help she needs so that together they can work through this and fully recover. We pray to that your Spirit will when the time is right, convict her of her sin and open her eyes and ears to your calling.

We pray again for Grace, pray that you will give her the reassurance that you're onto this, working with the family to bring about a miracle and healing. In advance and in faith Lord, we thank you for this.

Amen.

It is such a Blessing to come together, in prayer, in agreement, with yourself Grace and with our dear brothers and sisters on here.

There are a lot of things we do not know sister, our dear brother @Andyindauk has covered things well above, there are things we do not need to know, but what we do know sister is that, everyone's prayers have been raised with yours and are in our Lord's hands. We must let go of them and walk on in love. It is hard for you sister as you are on the front line of these attacks, but you are strong in faith sister, you love the Lord, your heart is broken with what you are going through, what you are experiencing right now, Trust in the Lord, just love her through it, talk when you can if only to encourage her to open up, but keep the peace when she fires the darts at you. I believe there is a spiritual battle here, but also as Andy has stated, there are probably other reasons below the surface. She is also just 17, she is in her rebellious years, they can be hard to, there are a lot of changes going on in her life right now, education, work, bodily changes, etc.

May the Love of the Lord shine from you in peace sister. And may that special peace, which passeth all our understanding be felt with your daughter and yourself where ever you go. May the God of Grace and Love fill your home and your hearts with peace and love from this day forward, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Jesus loves you sister we do too.

Bless you.

So sorry to here this my prayers will be going out.

I will add a rebellious child does not stand a chance against a praying mom, I was so lost at one time, would most likely be dead or in jail by now, but the prayers of my mom never ceased, a praying moms with praying friends is the strongest force in the world. With Jesus Love she will return.

What is her name so I can add her to my daily prayer list, you can PM me if you dont want it public

I do understand and feel your pain . This might seems strange about what i’m Going to say, but we are a “peculiar people” (Deut. 14:2)., (1 Peter 2:9). Please don’t be alarm but take courage. Look around see if you have any “Idols” around that might seem harmless, pray that the Holy Spirit give you guidance. You will know what to do. Our prayers are with you. “Sometimes it is the little foxes that spoils the vine”.❤

It is painful to have grown up children who are “nominal Christians”. Now imagine a wife too! They love “The Prosperity Gospel” They call me the “prophet of doom”. My prayers are with you.
Kids can be a real pain in the heart, can't they? You just love them so much you'd give them both kidneys if they needed them, but that sort of love makes you vulnerable and they know it, and sometimes they play it; it's part of growing up.

But Grace's daughter is not like that. She's not jockeying or playing, this poor girl is really struggling, they both are.

But I firmly believe that if Grace can stay strong and true to her beliefs and faith and draw close to her daughter, with God in control, they'll overcome this 'phase' that she's going through.

I just hope and pray that when they are through this, on the other side looking back, her daughter's eyes will open wide enough to see that mum played a part in her healing, but God played a much bigger part.

Please everyone that's reading this, please, please, pray for her healing. This poor girl is severely damaged and needs God's healing.

That's the easy bit, then comes the real challenge -
Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. James 5:19‭-‬20 NKJV

Pray that Grace's extraordinary love will shine and illuminate the God that radiates from her

Oh Lord, we come to you in a moment of crisis, our poor little sister's daughter is a mess and so needs you. We can't understand why she doesn't just reach out and embrace the solution to all her many problems, it's so obvious. But when you're in that situation, the obvious solution seems a million miles away, out of reach.

That poor girl is so tormented by something, I don't know what - but you do. Yes, you know her inside out, every thought, every feeling emotion and belief.

We pray for the intervention of your Holy Spirit, every moment just guiding Grace in her interactions with her daughter, covering her with your love, drawing her closer to her mum and to you so that she trusts her mum led by you to guide her through this situation and out the other side, towards eternal salvation.

We pray dear Lord for a really deep closeness together, out of this situation and into a shared relationship with you dear God.

Amen

Greetings brothers and sisters

Thank you so much for your prayers.

The last couple of days has been a bit better in terms of communication.
Praise the Lord.

Her hatred of the Lord is quite scary and powerful
She stands for anything that is anti Christianity.

Jesus we look unto You for Your healing power

Hi Grace,

I'm so pleased that there's palpable signs of improvement. I really hope that this is a trend rather than a flash in the pan. If you keep loving her, reaching out and drawing close to her it will be an upward trend.

I really doubt that she hates God, more likely that she's hurting in some way and that you and your first-love (God) gets the brunt of it. All perfectly normal and understandable.

The only answer is communication. If you can repair whatever damage there is between you by drawing close to her by loving and chatting to her, and spoiling her, she'll start to open up and the healing process can begin.

Dear Lord God, I pray for my poor sister Grace. Her daughter is not in a good place at the moment, hurting and dressed and confused over something, I don't know what.

I pray God for much improved levels of communication which with a daughter I know it's not easy. Therefore, plenty of blessing from your Holy Spirit is definitely in order for Grace.

Please Lord God,

Greetings sister,

Thanks for the update, we continue to lift each of you in prayer.

There will be ups and downs, I know we shouldn't look at the improvements one day as we will feel down even more another day. God is in control, we put our Trust in Him, we rejoice and give thanks, we seek strength and wisdom. Your daughters heart has to change, but it is not something we can do, we pray for her protection through the blood of Christ, we rebuke the devil who has no rights over her, we rejoice in Jesus Name for all He is doing, God's speed sister, God's speed. The raging waters you are experiencing will be calmed, there could be lashing waves but stillness will come, Jesus calms our troubled waters. Thank you Lord, Amen.

Let us share scripture God has given us, to encourage one another...
Proverbs 3:5-6 we both love and the scripture that has helped me threw so much Romans 8:28

Bless you Fragrant Grace, you and all your household.
