Cry Out to God..
Elizabeth George
Do you know people who don't like you? Has anyone ever said anything negative about you or cut you off or left you out? Try reading through the psalms for comfort. You'll be amazed by how much of the poetry centers on David's bouts with his enemies. He moans to God, wondering how long they will ruin his reputation (Psalm 4:2).
Enemies seem to be a fact of life, but we're not to hate them or fear them or even fight them. We're to cry out to God. Then we're to pray for our enemies....and pray about them. The good news is your foes will never achieve victory. God is watching over you (Numbers 14:9). And He promises to avenge you if needed (Deuteronomy 32:35). No one can frustrate God's plan or His promised protection and victory for your life.
Dear Jesus, it surprises and hurts me when I find out someone doesn't like me. Please open a path of communication so we can resolve any problems. And if that doesn't happen, thank You for watching over me. Amen.
