The Bible says that Jesus was sacrificed. It also says that Jesus was "God", or the true child of God. If God gave Jesus as a sacrifice, then can it be said that God sacrificed Himself?

"To Sacrifice" doesn't mean to kill, slay, crucify, murder, or even to die, any more than "Christ" was Jesus' last name.

"To Sacrifice" means literally, To lose or to give something up for the sake of something else. This something usually holds a great value to the one giving it up. Jesus wasn't being sacrificed because His life held no meaning or value to the ones who ordered and carried out His crucifixion. Jesus made a sacrifice that day.

A true sacrifice can only be made through a leap of faith. Jesus had taken the greatest leap of faith ever recorded in the history of mankind. My question then is; What was it that Jesus held, that is of great value to Him, that He was willing to give up for the sake of all of mankind?

Though God He came living as a man, He had to be tortured and even experience death for us. He also bore the agony of being separated from the Father as He bore our sins on that cross. Do not underestimate the price He paid.

I don't underestimate the price He paid. As you said, "He was separated from the Father", which to me, means that He could not "enter the Kingdom of God" after the ascension into Heaven. One might then say that Jesus did not sacrifice His physical life for this purpose. He sacrificed His eternal life for this purpose. would you agree?

"One cannot enter the Kingdom of God laden with burden." As He carries these burdens on His shoulders, The spirit of Jesus is not liberated. He will remain a prisoner to these burdens cast upon Him until they are lifted and removed. Only we can remove our burdens from Jesus.

Through His sacrifice, we know how great is the love of Jesus for us, but the true question should read; "How great is our love for Jesus?" What must we be willing to sacrifice as a "first step" to removing our burdens from Jesus, and stop using Him and His name as a scapegoat? He can forgive us of our sins, but we must begin taking full responsibility for our own actions. Only when this happens will Jesus be free to enter the Kingdom of God so as to prepare that place for us He had promised.

I don't quite get your logic. Jesus is with God. Yes, we need to take full responsibility for our own actions, but not to help Jesus make it in to the kingdom of God, as He does not need our help, but so that we may become like His example, and prosper and let grace`s freedom into our lives.

Again, ask God for guidance. He will give it to you. Ask all your questions to God and to Jesus. Ask Him to open your mind to His ways. They are very different from ours. Using our habitual ways of thinking and reasoning will only bring us to confusion and very limited understandings. You need God's help to understand. You can't understand His Word, in any of it's forms, without God's help.

No my friend I would not agree as scripture plainly demonstrates this is not the case.

I would recommend you spend a little time reading the entire New Testament, I believe that will clear up some of this confusion for you.

Jesus no longer carries those burdens but He does still (as a testimony) bear our scars. We cannot now nor could we ever pay the price for those sins that is why Jesus came to set us free.
Jesus rose again from the dead and now sits at the Father's right hand. He overcame death, hell and the grave, He ascended and applied His blood in the Heavenly Tabernacle and now rules and reigns with the Father.

One must be born again to see, comprehend, understand or participate in the Kingdom of God.
