But the Lord replied, "You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day! Don't you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out for water? This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn't it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?" Luke 13:15-16 NLT

The religious teachers during Jesus’ earthly ministry were ready to condemn the Sabbath healing of a woman afflicted by years of suffering. Jesus quickly pointed out what matters more to God: compassion for others rather than strict observance of religious laws.

Jesus offers you a chance to consider what kind of God you serve. Do you see Him as compassionate and dialed in to your suffering and struggles, or do you see Him as strict and uncaring? The kind of God you picture will determine what you value.

Jesus also offers you a chance to review how you look at others. Do you seek ways to disqualify others, or do you seek ways to show compassion? If you want to find an out that relieves you of caring for someone, you can always find something. Choose compassion, the kind of compassion that comes from a heart of love for God and for others.

Prayer: Jesus, help me to see others with the same compassion and mercy You show to me.

Matt 9:13; "But go and learn what this means: 'I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Matt 12:7; "But if you had known what this means, 'I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT A SACRIFICE,' you would not have condemned the innocent.

Hos 6:6; For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, And in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

1Sam 15:22; Samuel said, "Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.

7 Will YHWH be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?”
8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does YHWH require of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:7-8

I find it hard to believe that a person that can walk by the sick n needy n walk in a building to praise YH is even crawling the Talk let alone walking
I don't understand how the ones that claim they r so educated in the Word n dissect it on a daily basis n wanna claim a title don't even get what YH expects from His children

Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.”

I'm so happy I'm close to going Home

Dear Sister,
The World is like a giant magnet that continually draws one to it. No matter how much they go into buildings to praise/worship Him, how much time they "say" they spend in the Word, the flesh is weak though the Spirit is willing, and not enough time is done in prayerful seeking of His will in their lives. So, that those on the highways and byways are not searched for or sought after but believed to be for some reason unworthy of what they themselves have, or that another will be assigned to this work. :(

We who long for Home, are but one last breath to the next in being in Gloryland dear Sister! His Will, in His time be it done! \o/

With the Love of Christ Jesus.
