Interesting video. (That is not me in the video, By the way)
The funny thing is when I think about it, I've actually pulled over a police officer before.
Full disclosure, I'm a black male. But my circumstances is different. At the time I was living in
Baltimore MD. It was earlier this year when there was a lot of police shootings happening
nationally. So in light of the tension I prayed about it, and I wanted to show police officers
I appreciated for all their hard work. So I made thank you cards and put gift cards in them
for dunkin doughnuts as a thank you, we appreciate you(police), and we stand with you(not with
police brutality, but with police in general).
So I started following a police car to flag him down. I actually didn't flag him down but by the time
he noticed I was following him he pulled over. I pulled over behind him (he was in front of me as I was
following him). I got out of my car and approached his car, but of course I signalled with my hands first
so he wouldn't feel threatened. We walked up towards me not knowing what was going on, and
I told him I just wanted to give you this card, and thanks for your service. He was like ok. And I went
back to my car and drove away.
Just spreading the love a Christ a little at a time.
True story.
